Only seen the whole of series 1 on a plane. Pretty funny, not as good as Thick of it.

On last episode of Stranger Things. Started with no expectations, and honestly it's treemendous. Something very Pan's Labyrinth about it..the soundtrack and feel. Big thumbs upside down!
Good day for series this, first episode of GoT season 7 and first episode of The Strain season 4.
I like it a lot, and I feel it gets gradually better in the earlier seasons. Season 1 feels like they're trying to find their feet, the following ones they're a lot more comfortable with what type of show they are, if that makes sense, and it's awesome. The latest season didn't feel as fresh, but still it was ok.
I finally decided to start Game of Thrones on Saturday, finished season one last night and the first episode of season two.
It's quite good, I just need to avoid spoilers now which I'm sensing might be challenging.

Just a friendly warning that there are progressively less tits and lezzer scenes as the seasons progress.
As long as they're not replaced with more cock scenes I'm not bothered.
Nice one. I watch the 6 seasons in a week just last month. Thought I was the only one to have not seen this kids TV series. I like it!

One of my favourite shows ever, and season 2 looks interesting - though topping the first season will take some doing.
Bit disappointed and surprised that it will be a total standalone though, thought the Rances from season 1 would have been written in somehow.

They had good ending, no need for them anymore (as main protagonists at least) I'd say.
Yeah they had a good ending, still felt they left it open in the final episode though, but that was probably since they didn't know where the show was heading.
They can have their well deserved rest after what they had to endure in season 1

Be warned though, that epic thread began in Season 3. I think we had a Season 1 and Season 2 thread before it. But then just made one large thread for the rest.
Watched a few episodes of Goliath whilst the missus watches that Love Island shit and GoT is on hold.
Started out solidly enough, mostly due to Billy Bob doing Billy Bob things, but quickly becomes a daft mess with several stupid characters and a stupid 'big bad corporation' overarching conspiracy storyline.
Shame, I'd been wanting a new Billy Bob show after S1 of Fargo.

It all goes downhill after season 4, just a warning.
It did become a bit unbelievable but I still enjoyed it for the acting.
Finally watched Glow, great fun.
For all of you who recommended Power, thank you! Really good show. As a huge Entourage fan the icing on the cake for me was seeing Turtle again! I didn't think he could pull off this kind of role but he's killing it imo.

Watched 2 episodes of Salvation last night, totally lukewarm coupled with some weak acting and lines. Can be avoided.

Finished season two of GoT.
It's a good show, but not at the level of the other top shows for me. It's an intriguing watch but some of the writing isn't particularly great and the pacing is absolutely all over the place.

Read the books before the tv show started but I've only ever seen the series on my home cinema on a very big screen. The production values and visuals are better than the other great tv series you're thinking of. Mind you this gets better in its own right in the next couple of series, as do the books that go with them.
At its best it's like watching a mini movie with stunning visuals.
But yeah you're right in other respects it's not as good as the likes of wire / shield/ oz/ breaking bad / west wing etc etc.
Rewatching E.R. at the moment. The first few seasons were brilliant. Is Sense8 worth watching?

Just powered through 5 seasons of The Americans in the past week and a half. Definitely would recommend, it's a pretty chill show to binge.
Started on The Leftovers after reading all the fuzz on here, i'm 6 episodes in now and it's sort of catchy but mostly it's just weird and annoying...is there even a real plot here? Cause i feel like i'm wasting my (oh so precious) time.
Just watched season 5 of Prison Break. Actually kind of enjoyed it. Shame it's been cancelled.
Anyone else think 'Final grades' is the best Wire episode? Just rewatched it and well it's g.o.a.t material, best show ever created.
I started watching this yesterday and I am absolutely hooked.
If you liked Tarantino and Rodriguez' grindhouse movies then this series is a must. Some of the most entertaining stuff I've seen for a while, time flies when watching it.
