Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Limitless is also a film turned to series. Watched almost all of series 1, easy viewing and not too heavy a plot to it - I like it.

Watched first season of Billions with Damien Lewis, really enjoyed this. Paul Giamatti is also smashing in it. It's basically wolf of Wall Street without all the drugs and craziness and more so slightly darker. David Costabile is also in this, he's been in Suits and Breaking bad, so he's onto something!

And I'm back into Suits also, just onto Season 4.

So anyone seen The Last Ship? I really liked the book. I know that it started out with really bad ratings but the quality seems to have taken an upswing, also it just got renewed for a third season.

I liked it. Some cringe worthy moments (Navy being so great mostly), but overall it was a fine show. They could've ended the series with the second season though.

I need to give Billions another chance, I found it pretty boring the first few episodes I watched.

Billions suffers under the peak-tv point we are at, and all the high quality shows around. 10 years ago it would have been considered one of the best dramas on TV.

So, I need a recommendation now too.

All I have on the go is Peaky Blinders and Game of Thrones (not a huge fan but sticking it out). It's Always Sunny and Suits too whenever they're back but that's ages away.

So what do I go for? Watched the Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Lost, Prison Break, Dexter...just to knock those off the suggestion list.

Boardwalk Empire, The Americans, Fargo, True Detective (first season).

Mad Men.

Watched True Detective already but cheers. What's Fargo like compared to the film? Wasn't a huge fan of it if i'm honest.

A bit different, there are some connections but you don't have to be a fan of one to enjoy the other. It has some great acting and great production. Second season was probably the best thing on TV last year.

Deadwood. Severely underrated show. As for comedy, Eric Andre show is brilliant.

Bloodline (Netflix)
Bosch (Amazon)
edit: ^^^ Deadwood

Plenty of suggestions lads, cheers! Will check out a few trailers and see what intrigues me.

Is The Killing any good? A friend has recommended it and I remember watching a random episode of it probably a year ago now and thinking it looked alright. Think I was tied up in other shows at the time though.

Yeah it's good. The original that is, haven't seen the US version.

I would recommend it. Its enjoyable and keeps you guessing. Joel Kinnamon is good in it as well.

Billions is excellent, for those that haven't seen it yet.

I just started The Last Panthers (about a diamond heist) and it seems like it'll be top notch.

Fans of foreign dramas need to check out Braquo, 1992, Romanzo Criminale, and Gomorrah.

They've probably been mentioned already, but I can't recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Flowers which was on Channel 4 recently if you're a fan of dark British comedy. Only 6 short episodes but wonderfully quirky characters and a script that will have you laughing and crying all in the same episode. I can't remember another show tackling depression in such a heartfelt way.

Olivia Colman and Julian Barratt are both excellent but it's the performance from Will Sharpe (who wrote the series) that stole the show for me.

Fingers crossed for a second season.

Billions turned out decent? It's first two episodes were pretty mediocre.

Finally got round to watching the first episode of Mr. Robot last night, thought it was bloody brilliant!

Don't get your hopes up too much, in my opinion the only way after the first ep was down.

Thanks. Will check these out.

Anyone here watched Smallville? What's the general consensus on it?
I watched the first few seasons and I really liked it. It's not top notch or anything, but a decent watch nonetheless. It has some of the best soundtracks for a TV show as well.

Week off work and need something to watch. Quite open minded, but as I can't be bothered moving right now, needs to be on UK netflix
Already seen / up to date on Lost, Prison Break, GoT, Breaking bad, Dexter, Persons of Interest, Leftovers.

Tried House of Cards but is a bit slow to be honest and not really into any sort of superhero stuff
Thanks :)

I'm sure Arrested Development is on Netflix.

I've just seen Band of Brothers and would recommend for a binge watch. Amazing cast, including many with small parts who go on to be big names. Couldn't believe it when Jimmy Fallon popped up!

Are we naming the worst shows of the last ten years? If so, your list is pretty good.

I was naming TV shows that come under different genres. I listed superhero fiction, a spin off, fantasy drama, musical, a teen drama, a sitcom and legal drama.
@Rado_N What show is it similar too?
