Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

I know it has been a couple of weeks since the season finale aired but overall, I really enjoyed the first season of The Magicians. The book readers seem to have issues with the finale but I thought it was a very good finale in terms of how much happens. The last 10 minutes or so took a really dark turn after a mostly light-hearted feel throughout the finale. Curious to see where it goes from here, and especially since it seems to be deviating quite a bit from the books, book readers aren't sure either.

I started to see a serie called "Containment" ,about a virus http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4421578/. There are only two chapters. It looks good. In the next days I will start the second season of twelve monkeys.
I have to finish the first season that I liked it although ended being a bit confusing and twisty
. I am also curious about a new serie called Hunters (syfy)

Looks pretty decent , just my sort of TV Show.

Might give this Marseille show a go on Netflix. Anyone seen any episodes yet?

This seems as good a place as any to say this, but my girlfriend and I fairly recently finished going through Psych. American comedy/detective show, absolutely hilarious at times. The premise is a bloke with an eidetic memory and hyper-observational skills pretending to be a psychic and helping the police with cases, but that doesnt really explain it very well or do it much justice. The character development and interaction is brilliant, and there is amazing chemistry between most of them. The formula starts to get a little bit stale after a few seasons but I heartily recommend it to anyone seeking a show to watch.

Yeah, first few seasons of Psych are great. But the narrative is repeated too often and eventually, the show wears you down a bit. But a very good show nonetheless.

Bosch is good stuff. Not epic, but enough to get your crime-drama fix. Cheers to whomever recommended it.

I tried Wallander, a Swedish murder-mystery thing that had 5* on Netflix but it didn't do it for me. It was decent, just a bit...formulaic...?

Just finished season 2 of You're the Worst. Jeez, that season was depressing. Loved the first season but didn't enjoy this one so much.

Broad City on the other hand, Season 2 was funny.

I'm tempted to try Broad City, is it any good? How would you rate it against other comedies?

It's a light hearted comedy which is great for kicking back and just chilling. It's hard to compare it to anything as it's quite a different premise to other comedies. It's a Comedy Central show if that helps so I guess you could say similar type humour to Workaholics.

The Hillsborough documentary is on iplayer at the minute. It's very difficult viewing but is the most comprehensive account of the tragedy I've seen and is essential viewing.

That aside, there's a programme called Game of Thrones which is supposedly pretty good.

About to finish Season 6 of Stargate SG1.

Think I asked this earlier or was it for Battlestar Galactica (don't remember), but can someone give me a viewing order to follow for watching Stargate SG1 after Season 7 as from what I understand, Stargate Atlantis is supposed to run parallel to SG1. So far I have found 3 different viewing orders and am confused as to which viewing order I should follow.

Was wondering the same thing a while ago, and found this http://www.gateworld.net/news/2009/05/stargate-recommended-viewing-order/

Watched the pilots of It's Always Sunny and Parks & Rec, both were solid. Which one do I continue with (if any)? My favourite comedies are Arrested Development and Community.

I love both but always sunny is definitely the better, it gets better and better, I loved the first couple of series at the time but now I look back mid way through season three onwards its pretty much the gold standard. I've had the which is better arrested development/ always sunny argument many times.

Saw the first episode of Parks and Rec today too, don't think it's for me but gonna keep going for a bit

I watched the pilot ages back and had the same feeling so sacked it off, then Cina convinced me to at least watch into season two and I absolutely loved it, I've watched it through twice and will probably watch it again, it's absolutely brilliant.

The first season isn't comparable in terms of entertainment to later seasons. There aren't many shows that made me laugh as much as this one and it starts right off in the second season.

I prefer Office to Parks and Rec (same team made them iirc, they are definitely a lot of similarities between them)
Watched it's always sunny for a few seasons but never got the hype and stopped. Maybe it just wasn't for me - but it actually reminded me of Arrested Development a lot

Absolutely 100% It's Always Sunny. Parks and Rec is decent but it's nowhere near Sunny. Especially once Devito joins.

First season is pretty bad, I've watched through the show about 3 times, but I never watch the first season again as its just a different show, even the main characters are completely different. When Rob Lowe and Adam Scott come into it it's really great, and Louis CK.

I'm just in the re-watch of Parks and Rec, and didn't find first season bad at all. Still charming and quite funny, but feels more grounded, more comparable to real life, realistic, than latter seasons.

Definitely don't skip season one, it sets most of the characters up. On a rewatch fair enough but not the first viewing.

I love Z Nation, it slowly gets better as you go through the seasons. It doesnt take itself seriously and has humour mixed in with some dark stuff. I found it gets better after the first season.
I just finished the first season and really liked it. The zunami was absolutely amazing.

I want to start something new, I'm thinking either Bloodline or Peaky Blinders. Which one's better?

Bloodline is slow, beautifully filmed but slow. Peaky Blinders is faster to get into. I cant pick which one is better because they are quite different but both pretty good.
I just watched the first 5 episodes of London Spy, another slow one but a good watch. Sort of like The Fall in terms of pace and the way the plot reveals itself.

Never seen any of this , is it worth downloading and watching ?
