Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

I want to start something new, I'm thinking either Bloodline or Peaky Blinders. Which one's better?
Completely different shows, hard to compare them

Peaky Blinders is a brutal criminal action drama with a great atmosphere.
Bloodline is a little like The Affair if you watched it - the situation slowly unravels to peak at the very end. It has a great psychological side to it

Recently caught up on Person of Interest. I'm in love with Amy Acker.

watched the first season and he first episode of the second season but stopped watching... kind of boring.

Does it pick up later on the season?

Oh yeah. HBO at its best.

Thanks George and Red for the heads up. Have binge watched the first 3 episodes and it's amazing. Acting and writing are brilliant. Can't believe I haven't heard more about this. Probably a mistake to watch it with my two and a half year old son who is clearly going to now be heading to nursery saying "c**ksucker."

I've been meaning to watch some new (to me) TV in a while. Other than It's Always Sunny in Phili, the last new-to-me program I watched was The Sopranos (seriously).

Well, a few nights ago, I started on The Wire. Holy moly, what an absolutely incredible show... RUINED BY THE FACT MY BROTHER LOST THE FIRST DISC OF SEASON FOUR FROM HIS BOX SET :mad::mad: I'm seriously pissed, amused, and upset, all at the same time. I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!

PS. Watch The Wire.

I always feel jealous of people who discover The Wire for the first time.

My aunt has been going on about it to me for nigh on a decade now when I was adamant The Sopranos was the greatest thing of all time. Not saying it isn't, but The Wire sure does have my questioning it...

The thing is, I've so much great TV to watch after this. For 2000/2010 shows, I've seen The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, South Park, It's Always Sunny, and (almost) The Wire from start to end. I've got hundreds of recommendations to go to - And I'm not even done with this one yet :D

I tried watching The Wire a couple of years ago but just couldn't get into it, I think I quit after about three or four episodes.

The huge hype certainly didn't help as I was just expecting more from it.

If it makes you feel any better many people consider season four to be the best.

Anyone else watching The Path?

My favourite new show.
Yea, I've been watching it, it has been excellent. I knew it looked like a potentially really good show based off the trailers and it has lived up to that. The second half of the season especially has been really good and its set up for a potentially great season finale next week. For me, its definitely the best new show of the year so far, it's prestige drama.

I'm currently watching a reality survival show called Alone where 10 people are put separately and out of reach of each other on Vancouver Island. The winner is the person who stays out the longest.

About to finish Season 6 of Stargate SG1.

Think I asked this earlier or was it for Battlestar Galactica (don't remember), but can someone give me a viewing order to follow for watching Stargate SG1 after Season 7 as from what I understand, Stargate Atlantis is supposed to run parallel to SG1. So far I have found 3 different viewing orders and am confused as to which viewing order I should follow.

Yeah saw that but also found this and this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1b5T6bk5bS9LDaIVXR55-agOd_FYgTN0TZcpZDfvnMg4/pub?output=html

All three recommended viewing orders are different to a varying degree and I can't seem to figure out which one to follow.

Just about to finish season 7 of Stargate : SG1. 3 episodes left

@Edgar Allan Pillow any recommendation regarding which viewing order to follow from season 8 onwards.

Just watch through SG1 till finish. It's better than Atlantis so finish it full. You're not missing anything of value in not double watching it with Atlantis.

Stargate the movie
SG1
Ark of Truth
Continuum

And Atlantis as a stand alone series.

Arent there connections between the two series. I mean SG1 referring to something that happened on Atlantis and it getting connected with what is happening on SG1?

By the way, she and Shaw are responsible for one of the worst sex scenes in the history of the television. Just what the feck was that?

Oh, feck you, Fox.

Apparently Training Day and The Exorcist also are on our way along with MacGyver. Damien already did a season.

We need a remake of Lost.

The Mark Wahlberg film shooter is being made into a TV show too.

Seems a bit pointless after seeing the film.

Totally agree. Aaron Paul and Hugh Dancy are great in it. Plus I love the aesthetic of the show for some reason along with the music, I can keep watching the characters talk for hours without getting bored.

Just downloaded this but won't have a chance to watch it for a while. Anyone watched it?
