Good cameo from him today, I thought.

The less touches he takes, the more effective he is
Having an actual striker ahead of him will help him immensly IMO, more movement up front will open up angles for quick passes like the one to Rashford, one of his issues I think is the slow movement of our team, of course he still needs to learn to use his right peg, Shaw used to be as one footed as Antony ands still is to a certain extent but he did score a beauty with his right so it can be done

You guys need to have seen Ralph Milne before we go worst ever.

Apparently, there's a 2-parts Youtube video by the name of "Ralph Milne Football Legend".
I watched a minute of it, it's not sarcastic.

Was he a decent footballer before coming to United?

He had a flurry of form in lower division before Fergie took a punt. He has a song which we will still sing when we’re drunk enough.

“Ralphie, Ralphie…”

Most players are one-footed though. I'd argue the left footers stand because there's less of them and others stand out because of their playing style (I'm thinking of Valencia.) It just seems unnecessarily harsh criticize him for this currently.

Most players are capable of using both feet but have a dominant one, there are not really that many true 2 footed players, but 99% of the time Antony and Shaw use their left foot for everything

To be fair, he was an important player for Dundee United at a time when they made the semi-final of the European Cup and final of the UEFA cup, so a very good player in his day and had a much stronger list of achievements than Antony.

Thought he looked promising in his short cameo over the weekend.
Granted he was up against tired legs and he didnt take anyone on, produce any key offensive passes and was largely anonymous but atleast he was there stretching our width.

Because it would be a massive risk. We need a proper RW to battle for top4.
Wasn't Antony a massive risk? Anyone we buy is a massive risk. So Let's tke a risk with Amad who at least has UK condituions experience and excelled in them

His last cameo was promising. At least he is fighting his way back into the team. Unlike our other right winger who is wasting his way out of the club.

Antony was unproven in a top league = huge risk.

Neto is PL proven but injury prone. Superior player but a different kind of risk.

Antony should be sold if we get a decent offer.

Unfortunately that kind of comparison is setting the bar incredibly low. He either has to consistently prove he's got the balls and ability to make it here or move on.

Except when he out Rashford through one on one

exactly. That was a perfect instance of perhaps Antony learning. That spot i was 100 percent expecting his stupid ass curling attempt to the same side. Instead he played that perfect ball that shouldve been an easy goal for rashford. Hopefully he does more of that in the future.

Yeah, it's very telling when you are watching United win, lose or draw, the thought 'If only we had Antony or Jadon available' never enters your head.
£160million worth of wingers and we don't even debate playing them over a horrendously out of form and out of position Rashford nor a raw Pellestri. Pretty damning really.

Galatasaray 3:3 Man Utd
Credit to him tonight, he showed some quality in moments.

Actually looked a good player tonight, shows he’s got it in the locker which is encouraging

There's definitely a player in there. With space to attack he showed he definitely can dribble past opponents.

Personally I'd like to see a run of games with him, Garnacho and Hojlund as the front three. Let's see if we can start finding some combinations
