This reeks of an organization where job safety is incredibly high mixed with extremely low accountability. The fact that any human with any amount of football knowledge saw a report on this man and thought, "Yes, that's 90m" reeks of a lot of 'yes' men at the top of the chain.

That time he had about 4 options to pass it to and still gave it away passing it behind the player. He cannot pass a ball to a moving target at all
Thing is you would look at him and think he’d have the ability to create a yard to slip passes through for someone running on to but honestly think I’ve only seen him maybe do this once or twice. He is just awful and there was a vid of training the otherday and he is tiny. Like he is dwarfed in terms of build compared to Mainoo and Garnacho. He has no upper body strength at all.
I was down for this signing at like 40-50 mil but the money paid for him honestly seems like something criminal went on.
He's lucky to be here and that's quite a terrible thing to say about a footballer at this level. Realistically he should've never left the Brazilian league as that's his level and even there he'd be one the worst wingers. How he made it here is a head scratcher.

Yeah his weight of pass is horrific, as is his crossing. So his only "threat" is the constant curlers from distance that seem so tame now that everyone has figured out he's a one trick pony.
The balance thing was the biggest red flag from the get go for me, if you're going to be this slight, tricky brazilian winger that isn't very quick you at least need to be incredible at keeping your balance, but he slips more than any United player I can remember. He's genuinely one of the more unathletic United players I've ever seen take the pitch, much less for a winger.
The way he plays, it is like he is 14-15 years old tbh.
It's always someone elses fault when he passes to the opposition, the most unlikable United player of recent memory and sadly will be very hard to offload with the salary he is on. And then it happens that you expect a 100M player and Antony in the best of cases would cost about 25/30M... even Olise is much better and martinelli, doku, Johnson, Hudson odoi, xaka and any winger from the premier.
