It seems pretty obvious that Levy has no intention of investing in the near future, with a new stadium to pay for.
Simply put, whatever you were prepared to pay before wouldn't interest Utd now, as I say we have no need or want to sell. Unless of course you think Spurs were prepared to double your record transfer fee to get him before he moved to Utd.
IF we sign a LW then nothing will change for Martial - he will still need to up his game considerably to be in contention for a place. I think he's shown enough to suggest that he has the talent to do that but time will tell.
Again back to the same point, if reports of this bid are true then it reeks of Levy positioning himself to say 'look, look, we tried but our offers were turned down' to try keep the fans quiet.
Take a look at your transfer spending and the contracts you have key players on and I'd suggest spurs fans should be pretty worried.
