One excellent long ball to Dallot. But then, what was he expecting by lumping the balls so often to our weak, small, and young attackers up front?
Goldbridge is on one here. Not wrong either.
I don't know, I haven't seen a big difference between his distribution and De Gea's (granted I haven't watched every match, particularly in the Champion's League.) I'm very worried about him.His distribution was good tonight. And has been in plenty of games this season. Goes without saying it will get a lot better in the unlikely event we ever a) play some defenders who are more comfortable on the ball than Maguire + 1 and b) play the same back four for more than one or two games in a row!

I didn't think he was all that but I thought he could kick a ball. But he has been absolutely shit.I'll never forget the dozens of insane posts on the De Gea performance thread in June when it became clear that we were going all in for Onana. Look it up for yourself if you want a good laugh...or a good cry.
40m million shoveled straight into the furnace.
But how about we have some patience and give a player more than a few months before completely claiming we need to sell. That's just not sustainable! It's like people don't live in the real world in this forum!
Pep binned Claudio Bravo in favor of Willy Caballero by February of their first season at City. That is the real world.
After what Onana has done, it's not reaching too far if I say that a responsible manager will bin Onana for good right before the AFCON and afterwards.
Everyone here is so toxic. It's a one on one from 5 yards out with no pressure on him. That is never on him! People just love to moan about everything! Apparently he offered nothing at all. Well i think his passing was decent today. He put through dalot with a great pass.
Havign said that, we are out of the Cl cause of him. But how about we have some patience and give a player more than a few months before completely claiming we need to sell. That's just not sustainable! It's like people don't live in the real world in this forum!

His flaws aren't going to improve with time. His reactions won't get any better when he gets older. Probably will get even worse.
Get rid and replace next season. Let's not waste time until his value in the market is completely lost.

Agreed. He was doing ok in the match tonight but not to make a move towards Coman in the 6 yard box was poor to say the least. His flaws aren't going to improve with time. His reactions won't get any better when he gets older. Probably will get even worse.

He never comes off his line to narrow angles for attackers. It gives them the entire goal to slot it into. Drives me fecking mad.

But that would hurt the higher ups feelings. Their pride won’t let them see a massive investment thrown out after 6 months that would admit failure.
2 more years of mediocre shite followed by a 4 month bright spell that will see him rewarded with a further 5 year deal. We all know it’s coming.

Would rather have paid De Gea that for a couple more seasons.I'll never forget the dozens of insane posts on the De Gea performance thread in June when it became clear that we were going all in for Onana. Look it up for yourself if you want a good laugh...or a good cry.

De Gea was much much better than Onana.. he wasnt the best in the world, but its not even a fecking contest..Another example of our fans just being about vibes and jagons but loosing the whole essence of this discussion. Onana is not good enough, neither was DDG. If DDG was good enough, he'd have a club by now
Evra and Vidic signings were punts signings. Also unlike outfield players, GK gets very different treatment. SAF didn't mess around giving time with all the GK signings that come to replace Schmeichel.I'm always a bit more patient in a player's first season. You'd think that the Players' Performance Threads of Vidic or Evra would have looked exactly the same as Onana's. There's always a chance for a player to turn it around, I guess.
But yeah, this looks really, really bad.
Looks like another one of ETH's signings where the area on the pitch that needed improving upon was correctly identified,
but the player that was signed as an upgrade turns out to be a failure.
Laughable. De Gea can suddenly do no wrong

This guy is a massive downgrade.
When you put it like this. You really couldn't make it up. Reminds me of those who are happy we are out of Europe, so we can focus on the league. Frightening.People fearing a battering against Liverpool at the weekend because of the keeper and simultaneously pining for a guy who conceded 7 there on his last outing.
