Pep finally getting a big transfer right. Sanchez will win City the title, and if they can get him and send the hopelessly inconsistent Sterling in the opposite direction that's great bidness for them.

Last season we were also integrating four key players into the side whilst still trying to showhorn two slow attackers which doesn't work well with Jose's m.o. This season we don't need to play all of our new signings, have no Rooney/Ibra problem and have a couple of players playing really well. It could be a false dawn, won't deny that but apart from fullbacks we have resolved a lot of issues imo.Decent start nut I'll wait till we play one of the top 6. Last season we started well then played City and got taken apart.
You did already predict things though. You said he would take United from us finishing 4th, to be the favourites for the league. Why can't you do the same for Arsenal?I can't predict anything, but these two questions can be easily answered by last year's stats. Sanchez scored 24 goals and 11 assists in the league. He was directly involved in 35 goals, which is short only of Kane's stats who was involved in 36.

As said above, Utd should be all over this various types of offers. Smalling plus cash, Shaw plus cash, Lingard plus cash. Variety of options we could surely tempt them with
He grew up in North London, so I imagine he has family there.Breaking news this player plus cash offer for Sanchez. Not a bad deal for Le Arse to be fair, although dont know why Sterling would want to move there
But professionally, it'd be a terrible move for him; Arsenal's clearly on the decline and I'm assuming he'd get lower wages? He grew up in North London, so I imagine he has family there.
Not Shaw.
I would say that Smalling would be quite a temptation to them, especially with the mustafi rumoursThe only player we could offer that would be as tempting for Arsenal would be Martial but that should and will never happen.
We have Kolasinac.Arsenal desperate for a LWB, he could do a job for Ars there
We have Kolasinac.
Alexis clearly doesn't want to play for the club anymore, I'd be happy with Sterling.
I really feel we should go all out for him. He wants to leave, and if Arsenal are willing to do business with City, then they definitely wouldn't mind doing business with us.
I feel like adding him to our starting eleven would instantly make us favorites for the league and contenders for the CL.
I wouldn't say delighted. As long as Wenger is in charge we could sign Messi and it still wouldn't make a difference. But getting in a young winger to replace Sanchez does make sense for the future, if Wenger is ever replaced. You should be delighted with this deal(if it's true)
I think it's more to do with his hatred for Jose.I actually think Wenger would rather sell to City than us. He's still bitter about the Van Persie deal.

classed as homegrown too. pretty stupid from City and very short sighted.Surely they haven't spent 50mill on Sterling only to bin him off two years later.

Forgot about that one. But it's still strange. We only got RVP from them. City signed almost half their team. Adebayor, Nasri, Clichy and Sagna. So how is Arsenal still ready to do business with them but not with us? I think it's Sanchez who would have said no to us.Not sure about that. He even refused to sell us Debuchy while Van Gaal was in charge despite the player not being in his plans.
I would also suspect City to have informed Sterling of this and he is willing to accept. It would seem pointless for City to make this offer on a whim, only to then fall down because Sterling says no.
