Varande after a couple of dodgy seasons looked alright again at tail end of last season, but he's playing in a cracking side in fairness. He's absolutely not at the level of Bailly imo.
Ramos is a different story, best all round defender in the World for me.
Varane wasn't even starting over Varane for part of last season so why wouldn't Bailly start over him?
Wasn't Varane struggling with injuries? When fit, he's clearly a starter above Nacho.
Varane plays for Real Madrid so let's just forgot he's not had a truly cracking season since Mourinho left, I mean, he plays for Real Madrid and he had a few good months at the end of last year ffs.
