Alexis Sanchez | Staying at Arsenal after City deal falls apart

Arsenal would want Martial in return for sure. They wouldn't want to strengthen Utd, leave alone Jose's team.

Not Martial but they can take their pick of Smalling or Smalling.

He is due back in London tomorrow back at Arsenal isn't he? I can see him not returning yet and then Arsenal coming out and saying that he has been granted additional time off due to his cold. At which point he forces a move to City/PSG and doesn't return to Arsenal at all.

Well, he's in a position where he could really refuse to work for arsenal again if he wants to. His place in the NT isn't in danger, he doesn't need the money for 1 year and he'll be free by summer 2018...

He is one of the best player in EPL last season along with Hazard. Both of them consistently performed to very high standard and they also have very good injury records. They almost always fit to play and works very hard on the field. It was like Ronaldo was playing for us with incredibly high standard carrying the team every game and yet able to stay fit always.

I rather we get him if we really plan to spend crazy money on Bale. Sanchez will be much cheaper option and most importantly he is consistent and not injury prone. It may not be popular here but imho he is better player than Bale.

I'd certainly consider him better than Bale but I'm not sure he'd be cheaper at all. Also, he would probably prefer Pep and City.

It was reported that both PSG and City bid around 60 mil for Sanchez. Both are favorite to get him. Bale will go for at least 100 mil and with higher salary as well. Sanchez in his last year contract will certainly be much cheaper.

A fully fit Bale is a match winner on a different level to Sanchez tbf. That said, his fitness is a huge concern and I'd rather Sanchez atm. That said, he'd definitely be cheaper. Both in terms of fees and wages.

Reported bids and actual price aren't the same.

Which one are you saying is cheaper? Not sure I followed that.

Fitness is a big concern as is whether we'll ever see that physically prime Bale again. I'm not sure the injuries haven't taken a permanent toll on him. His pace is a huge part of his game so if he loses a yard or two he won't be the same player.

Sanchez will be cheaper. Bale is on 600k a week and will cost double in fees.

Imagine if they did get Neymar and Sanchez. That's dream stuff

-------------Cavani------------
Sanchez----Neymar----DiMaria
--------Rabiot--Verratti--------
Kurzawa-Silva-Marquinhos-Alves

would be a hell of a team to throw out. Terrifying on the counter.

 Is everyone at Barca/Madrid on insane wages? Think Bale's fee might be cheaper though if Madrid are looking to unload. And if they're not he won't leave them anyway imo.
Naah, just Bale and Ronaldo at Madrid. Sanchez has a year left, 60 odd Mil max. Bale's gonna go for double of that at the minimum.

Nope, only the stars. Guys like Isco earned less than Fellaini until now(since Isco hasn't signed the new contract yet)

If Arsenal keep him I can see Arsenal finally challenging for the title. They're usually better at beating the minnows than top clubs and with Lacazette+Kolasinac they've added good first XI players. They probably need 1 extra signing.

We have a decent chance with a good cm, I'm hoping seri guy from nice.

Current cm options don't inspire me when the going gets tough

I think if Arsenal keep him, that is like the big signing Arsenal needed.
Conversely, he kicks up a stink and it spreads throughout the squad, messing up their chances of achieving anything.

Won't do that. Give him a ball and he'll put 120% in all the time.

He'll moan a lot both at himself and others when things don't go his way but that's more his personality then anything else. I found it funny when the media where making a big deal out of it saying he's only doin it coz he wants out.
Yet he does it for Chile as well, and they all just ignore it as if it never happened.

Wenger says he's injured for the next two weeks. I'd take that as confirmation he's off. Feck.

We need Sanchez so bad it's not even funny.

Be a great sign of intent. Lacked quality in the final third last season, signs 2/3 the top goal scorers in England in one window.

We will win the league if we sign him. Pay him what ever wages he wants.

We should be trying to get him here, I've been saying it all summer. He will make a huge difference.

Yup, offer whatever amount Arsenal want and pay whatever he wants and we are sorted.
Truly bizarre we aren't even linked with him in the tabloids.

I suppose Wenger looks at it as keep him and qualify for the CL or sell him and don't qualify, there's not much in it money wise.

He's just what we need in attack though.

The fact they didn't qualify with him in the team should surely convince him just to give it up as a bad job and sell him to us. *clasps further at straws*

Will end up at City this summer or next. feck him.

Was Kolasinac the free transfer? I'd never even heard of him before.
