Alexis Sanchez | Staying at Arsenal after City deal falls apart

Bayern and June are guaranteed success because they play in leagues where they do not have competition.

That said, I'd be confident he'd pick us over anyone.

Mourinho is building something big here.
Renato Sanches chose Bayern over us. We aren't a dead cert. Before you blame it on Van Gaal, Sanches said he is after titles. we cannot guarantee that. In fact, after this season, Chelsea will be the number one location for players, no doubt.

If Alexis wants Immediate success and to stay in London, Chelsea would be the place to go plus a front 3 of hazard-costa-alexis would be hard to beat

If we are getting Greizmann then there is no need for Sanchez, One of Martial and Mkhitaryan are going to be surplus if we buy him and Martial is going to be a superstar and Mkhitaryan is better in my opinion

A lot of people in this thread are forgetting one thing, not all players are in it just for the money.

I feel like Arsenal could offer Sanchez 500k a week but if they remain in this weird ground hog day scenario they're in, he just wont sign. You can tell from his reaction to defeats that he has the right mentality to win and will go elsewhere if he cant achieve it at Arsenal. I can see him joining Juventus to be honest. They have some change to spare from the Pogba deal, so can match his wage demands + can offer him the chance to regularly compete for trophies.

I think we should bid for Sanchez. If we get Griezmann as well it would be a bit Real Madrid but it would weaken Arsenal, and ensure that one of our rivals doesn't get Sanchez. We did the same thing when City went for Van Persie (and for Berbatov before that too!) Making sure the likes of Chelsea or City don't get Sanchez should factor into the club's thinking. He'd certainly offer more depth in forward areas than Ashley Young and, crucially, he's pretty clinical. For a team that wastes chances like ours that could be a massive game changer.

Mkhitaryan Griezmann Martial
Sanchez

That interchangeable front four with great work rate would be nearly on par with our front three of 2007/08.

I can imagine how fluid it would be. Would definetly be the most exciting attack in the league.

Then you have Pogba pulling the strings behind them with actual finishers that can... Wait for it... Finish.

I disagree. I can't see many players picking Chelsea over United whatsoever.

Again; Mourinho is building something big here. That is clear for everyone to see.

I fully expect 1 or 2 big name additions this summer.

Renato Sanchez choose Bayern because we kept stalling the deal due too manager situation

Right.....Thats why Kante chose Chelsea over us this summer. No one thinks like we United fans. Why would anyone think Jose is building anything different to Conte or Pep.
Kante went Chelsea even though we were above them last season. When they are league Champions, it sends out a message. If we scrape Champions League and Chelsea are champions, what is the upside to a player like Alexis, in choosing United over Chelsea?

Looks good on paper, but I think that mkhi and griezman will get in each other's way when mkhi starts drifting centrally.

Going to barcelona or Bayern munich i think. He wont stay.

He's already been at Barcelona. Don't think there will any special role for him to play there at this stage of his career. Of course there are positions that could be questioned at that club, it's just that he already played for them and had an unsuccessful spell.

Who can blame him? You have one career to win things. He wont win anything there. Good player with a good attitude
He's been whining like a baby for months now. Throwing tantrums when his teammates can't find him a with a pass. Bad attitude

I think Bayern are the most likely. They could use him, since Robben & Ribbery are getting old. Wenger will want to sell outside the PL as well.

PSG I don't think so, it's obviously not all about the money with him and PSG & French league aren't that attractive for a competitive guy like him.

Chelsea would probably be his favoured destination. Gets to stay in London, competes for everything, and gets the wages he wants. But Wenger will do his utmost to prevent selling to another English team.

City might try but he was already benched by Guardiola at Barca was he not?

Outside chance for the likes of us, Juve, Real, or staying at Arsenal. I think Ozil will stay.

I think he's world class, but don't want him at United. He's a very individual player, who needs the team built around him serving him as the main man. It won't win you things as deferring to him all the time is detrimental to the team.

I remember his Barcelona days and how attacks would break down with him because he struggled to play intelligently for the team. At Arsenal he can release the ball or run with it as he chooses and it allows him to thrive, but when he's not on song or nullified by the opposition, the team suffers too much. There were rumours Messi bullied him because of his inability to link with the team.

Don't Alexis and Vidal have real animosity between each other? Could be a rift in him choosing Bayern.

I reckon Real could do worse than him, also I imagine they would be able to mug Arsenal on the fee since Alexis probably would favour a move there ahead of Bayern and PSG.

He has already shown he isn't afraid to down toys, this combined with the Marca and AS press campaign and a few slavery comments from Perez and his cronies would surely make them get him for about £30-40m.

Could be right, I just knew there was some sort of rift between the two but not in any real detail.
Oh, I'm with you. I don't know either. But it's a rather long article and exactly on topic so I wanted to share. :-)

Surely has to come to Chelsea. He has no other option. Bayern and PSG already have too many wide players and don't need Sanchez.

We'd be silly not try and get Alexis. I'd take him over Griezmann all day long.

If neither win the Champions League this season who's to say neither Bayern or PSG need Sanchez

They have Coman Costa and Muller too.

No way is he choosing Utd over Chelsea, Bayern or PSG.
Just because you're going to win the league doesn't suddenly make you a more attractive option than United.

We have been the more attractive option for any players over United for more than 10 years now.
