Even with United's money, eventually something had to give after a decade of woeful transfer dealings.Sir ratcliff is broke and we need to sell. Great progress.

Yeah I love that vid, and Giggs only went flat out for a short while. Most of the time he was looking for a teammate. Brilliant player.I watched an old clip of United v Chelsea earlier. Schmeichel kicked the ball down the wing and Giggs left the fullback absolutely floundering in his rear view mirror, before crossing on the run for Hughes to knock in. The commentator said “it’s like a mini trying to catch a Porsche” or something like that. It really made me miss us having that lightening pace, it was a real threat. We haven’t really had it since Ronaldo
Gutted if he goes. Will be a star wherever he goes. But it's clear he does not fit this system. System over the player, Amorim has to get this right and i hope Ineos know what they are doing.
For too long now we've ignored pace when recruiting. You are automatically at a disadvantage when teams are stronger and quicker then you.Yeah I love that vid, and Giggs only went flat out for a short while. Most of the time he was looking for a teammate. Brilliant player.
Nani, Valencia and James were plenty pacy. But other than that, I unfortunately agree with you. It was always a United trademark, but long ago.
I know Chelsea buy a large number of players but I genuinely haven't seen him in any Chelsea match. What position he plays in?If Chelsea are talking swap talk tell them to give up Estevão or feck off.
Rashford was rapid too (key word "was") and Martial was as well with the ball. Considering those two came into the team a decade ago... yeah not great.Yeah I love that vid, and Giggs only went flat out for a short while. Most of the time he was looking for a teammate. Brilliant player.

He's still in Brazil. Coming this summer I believeI know Chelsea buy a large number of players but I genuinely haven't seen him in any Chelsea match. What position he plays in?
Ah, Chelsea buy a "next GOAT" Brazilian every couple of years from Brazil who never even sets foot in Chelsea. He's still in Brazil. Coming this summer I believe
And nearly 20years of dividends and interest paymentsEven with United's money, eventually something had to give after a decade of woeful transfer dealings.
He shouldn't be a starter here and he isn't half the time, he is not ready and he is not that great, he has direct pace and not a lot else ad not the hardest worker, do not get me wrong that is good enough to be a valuable asset but a starter for who? Maybe Napoli only because they have just sold Kvara but not Chelsea... you think he would start for Liverpool, Arsenal, City or even Newcastle? would not start for any of the top teams in Germany, Spain, France or Italy (other than Napoli), think you are deluded if you think he is that good.... arguably he has not yet reached his full potential, but right now not a chance in hellGutted if he goes. Will be a star wherever he goes. But it's clear he does not fit this system. System over the player, Amorim has to get this right and i hope Ineos know what they are doing.
It can't be stated enough how much the Glazers have destroyed the club. Selling of the club to Glazers should never have been allowed in the first place by the league. The same league blocked our sale to SKY who would have been an infinitely better owner. And nearly 20years of dividends and interest payments
He tries. He doesn't really seem to go past players all that often though?
I don't see great power or technique either.I don’t see any great speed from him. It limits him
Yeah forgot. Both were fast. Dan James was almost hilariously fast. Shame about his allround gameRashford was rapid too (key word "was") and Martial was as well with the ball. Considering those two came into the team a decade ago... yeah not great.

Welbeck was fast.Yeah forgot. Both were fast. Dan James was almost hilariously fast. Shame about his allround game
I think he'll go by the end of the window for about £50 million plus add ons.
My worry is that he won't be replaced and then the attack is even worse.

Yup that’s the one. Classic United breakIf my random memory of our end of season VHS tapes serves me well, that analogy was concluded with something along the lines of “and there’s the Rolls Royce waiting in the middle”?
Ah good times.
We will replace him with someone worse. These owners are clueless.
True. Not blistering, but faster than he looked. Ultimately not good enough though.Welbeck was fast.
Smalling & Fred sales have been two of the most baffling sales in the last few years.True. Not blistering, but faster than he looked. Ultimately not good enough though.
Smalling was very fast.
Current team is awfully slow.
You're a perfect fan in the eyes of the Glazers.Ultimately it all comes down to whether we completely trust and support Amorin or not.
If we do then Garnacho has to go, he doesn't suit the system at all, not as a 10 and not as a full back, if we're going Amorim all the way then the right call is to sell Garnacho, 60M is a good fee and the funds would allow us to bring players that suit Amorim's style.
On the other hand if we're not fully convinced with Amorim then we should keep him as another manager would surely be happy to have Garnacho.
I'm not sure where you are getting this from, it's quite clear they need to sell first to buy players. You're a perfect fan in the eyes of the Glazers.
This is not tactical, Amorim isn't saying get rid of one of the most promising youngsters in the game because I have decided in 2 months that at 20 years old he is reached his limit of development and must be sold. He is being sold by the owners purely for financial reasons.
You need to stop spewing bullshit like this because it's legitimizing these owners and making other fans back these sorts of embarrassing opinions when they should be calling them out.
Whose fault is that? Don't buy a club if you can't afford to run it. Other potential buyers would have cleared the debt immediately, did you know that changes the financial fair play equation as well?I'm not sure where you are getting this from, it's quite clear they need to sell first to buy players.
I wasn't defending them, I was defending the post your were responding to.Whose fault is that? Don't buy a club if you can't afford to run it. Other potential buyers would have cleared the debt immediately, did you know that changes the financial fair play equation as well?
Why are you defending people that have raped and pillaged this club for two decades, or the guy that threw them a lifeline when they were circling the toilet bowl and about to be flushed away forever?
We can afford to buy players because of the owners so people need to really stop using that as something to defend the owners with, it's literally their fault.
We will replace him with someone worse. These owners are clueless.
If sold during this window it will highlight further how much of mess the club is and for all the hype from the English media about the arrival of Jim and co they are basically extension of incompetence we have seen with the Glazers. Are we going to sell a player of great potential and replace him with players who may or may not improve us. Given our track record of late it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
What a mess this club is.

Money can be got elsewhere and the team requires natural left back first and foremost than getting someone in to fit a system that currently struggles against most teams including the worst team in the Premier league as I seen in Old Trafford last Thursday. If we get money and sign someone who fits the system then have no issue selling him
