Ish
Lights on for Luke
I don’t think we’re selling him after Amorim’s latest comments - not before January deadline anyway. In the summer if a huge offer arrives - probably dependent on his form from now until the end of the season.
For those highlighted in bold, whilst there will be savings in their salaries, their original transfer fees have still not been fully amortised, meaning that unless they are sold with transfer fees that at least match the outstanding amortisation values, then on the books that will go down as a loss, and thus impact the PSR rules.I’d still probably keep him and get rid of our two mediocre CFs and Rashford instead. His drive and intensity is great and a strong fit for the PL and his movement makes him a nice maverick option to have in the squad. There’s enough players to let go of and release funds - there mentioned above, Casemiro, Eriksen, possibly Mount, Lindelof, Onana, Dalot, Malacia etc
The fact that he’s responded well enough to Amorim’s feedback for him to start also reflects well on his attitude.
He could become the latest player to decline Spurs.Good to see that this story is disappearing and the only club been linked with him is Spurs.
A lot on here wanted him gone for some strange reason and they go quiet then when he assists / scores etcLooking more and more like Glazer tactics: threaten Mainoo and Garnacho sales, so when they stay, we’re happy it’s like new signings
I reckon you’re wrongI reckon he'll go to Chelsea.
Can’t see it now with Rashford gone as well as AntonyI reckon you’re wrong
HopefullyI reckon you’re wrong
Certainly not me, he’s one of my favourite players and, on a Football Manager scale, I think he has Potential Ability of 170+A lot on here wanted him gone for some strange reason and they go quiet then when he assists / scores etc
Yeah I think the Rashford loan has saved us regarding Garna. Thank feck for thatCan’t see it now with Rashford gone as well as Antony
Garna starts, Garna stays?
I'd hope so now - feels like it is pointing that way.Garna starts, Garna stays?
Get a grip!Such a sad state of affairs that we are forced to think about selling good players like Garnacho (because they can fetch decent money) but have to keep the others we should be selling (because no one wants them). Looks like we are comfortable in 13th place and have now started to even behave like a bottom half team.
Sadly, I have a strong feeling that selling Garnacho will come back and bite us hard. He is still a very young player and has the potential to go several notches higher.
If we did sell him (unlikely this window) I think he's we should demand at least £70m. I'm sure there's gotta be a player out there that would fit what we need in the squad better than Garnacho for around that price. I'd swap him for Gyokeres for example.
