It could compel a tiny sliver of people who weren't planning on voting, to actually turn out to vote. I doubt it will get existing Trump voters to switch to Harris in any meaningful numbers.
I think you underestimate the number of Trump voters who aren't maga-nuts.
Most people who vote for him don't care about stuff like this. And most remaining Haley voters are probably already not voting and/or a small number are considering Harris.

Yes. As Goldman said, the new House is sworn in on 3 Jan, which based on who is in the new house majority, will decide who the house speaker is when the election is made official in Congress on Jan 6th. If it remains Johnson, he could try to help Trump overturn the election. Goldman is a pretty smart guy given his background working at SDNY, so he is probably putting this into the public to sound the alarm bells that its a possibility if Trump loses the election.
Ballot drop boxes just seem like a weird thing to have. Just organize your elections so people can actually go vote, jeez.

Again I agree to some extent. I think carelessly the society went too far left when it was not ready for it. There has been a significant demographic change in said society, understandable that there will be resistance. Unfortunately the correction for that is going ultra right wing nationalist direction. We need to find a middle ground, a big task- this argument is true for Europe.
For America it is inevitable that the white population will cease to be the outright majority in in 2 to 3 decades, this has nothing to do with migration but more to do with birth rate of their minorities.
