I doubt that you or most here would say that if you/they we were at the center of it. Most people don't like to be ridiculed and take it quite personally. And most people here pouring ridicule over him are probably quite aware of that.

Well, we have to disagree on that. I prefer people to engange in a respectful debate rather than to discourage people with different view points from debates by ganging up on them.
I do too. That's what I've done. Don't say we're different on that just to imply I'm rejecting respectful debate.

People aren't shouting down the Trump fans in here though. I don't understand the sensitivity. Most of the frustration comes from someone making an outlandish claim or statement about Trump, and then when they're asked to back it up they disappear faster than @The Black Pearl in the CMO thread. Or post about what they don't have the time while continuing to post in this thread.

By the countless tweets and articles over the months, i take it that Americans actually their pollsters to be on the money? Their counterparts in the UK have a rather patchy recent history. Sometimes it is good when they're wrong of course.

Judging on the ads, It appears CNN's target audience is predominantly first class-flying investment bankers.

Betfair odds don't mean anything at this stage, the Brexit odds for remain were really short as well on the night. Then the results started to come in...

Could we get a pOll to see what channel everyone is watching. Just planted my arse down until 4am watching CNN & BBC.

have looked at fox so much but come off it tonight as they'll be blatantly pro Republican. Am I wrong???

Ok CNN is basically like sky sports news on transfer deadline day. Half expecting Jim White to pop out.

Usually the odds on betfair are as good of indicator as any but brexit was about 1.1 on the day of the vote and we seen how that ended up.

Definitely think Trump will have a group of silent voters who won't say they voted him due to fear of being labeled racist. Similar to the brexit vote and also Scottish referendum.

On a side note, personally think some of the media coverage on the election has been disgraceful. The likes of BBC reporting on both candidates side by side and using a nice photo of Clinton smiling compared to a photo of Trump crunching his face up (yes I know it's probably a struggle to find a decent photo of him). Personally think we should be expecting more from an organisation that is supposed to remain impartial.

Odds on Trump currently? Thinking about jinxing him.

This thread is a perfect demonstration of how people love to hear their own opinions reflected back to them. A perfect echo chamber. Does it really make your opinion more valid?

I leave this question hanging because I know no one will answer with any degree of seriousness. And on that note, I must flush this toilet and leave you to your echo chamber.
It's not opinion hombre, it's the sense of decency, mutual respect and understanding and actually knowing shit. Piss off to Breitbart.com, you are ruining the child killing grandmothers election win for us.

Why? You can hardly expect non-Brits to be allowed vote on a British referendum.
I wouldn't have, were ex-pats not allowed to vote.

The idea that my French housemate, who's lived here for 3 years and wishes to stay here, has less of a say over the future of the country than some guy in Spain who hasn't lived here for years and doesn't plan to.

At the same time he gets these big crowds all the time...

Tempted to put some money on Trump. He'll most probably lose, but I've got a feeling the odds have moved too far in Clinton's favour on very little new information.

"She's a t'riffic, t'riffic candidate"

CNN on one screen, Fox and MSNBC on the other.

Please don't get freaked out by exit polls, they hardly ever tell the whole story.
