edit:sorry @langster

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party. Question: what's on the ballot paper exactly? Only the name of the presidential candidate and his/her VP? What's the process flow between the voter ticking a box on the paper and the EC guy casting his vote? I don't get that part.

@Mihajlovic

No! The "ballot paper" is actually multiple pages.

People vote not only for president but for multiple officials, State, County, City, Local (that's different levels of government, with different officials and perhaps different laws). And also they vote yes/no to many different measures. In California, there are over 20 measures for these elections, ranging from legalization of marijuana, to raising taxes to fund schools, to changes to death penalty laws.

The "ballot paper" for California is six pages!

Obviously, each ballot is very different from place to place. Here is an example what a single page looks like:

Registered Republicans ahead by about 36,000 voters in Colorado right now, but that's about what it was in 2012 at this point as well

I don't think Christianity is at all peaceful, plenty of wars started by them.
You mean political ambitions. No wars has ever been started for religious reasons, just leaders hiding behind their faith to sucker others in.

I, and many others, aren't attacking him personally. As for ridiculing his point of view, however...[/B]

I doubt that you or most here would say that if you/they we were at the center of it. Most people don't like to be ridiculed and take it quite personally. And most people here pouring ridicule over him are probably quite aware of that.

I haven't really seen personal attacks, I agree that those are generally unsavoury. If someone is being a numpty sometimes they deserve to be called a numpty, though.

Well, we have to disagree on that. I prefer people to engange in a respectful debate rather than to discourage people with different view points from debates by ganging up on them.

Finding myself increasingly bitter that those without British citizenship couldn't vote on our EU ref.

Some serious cash bet on Clinton in last 20 minutes or so, in from 1.22 to 1.17. Trump now 6.6.

Wolf looks mightily unimpressed at these bullshit stats. He's like "get to the point muthafecker, instead of crunching numbers, crunch your fat ass at the gym, bitch"

Getting destroyed by Finkelstein is the best thing he ever did.
