The first female president bottling it after 4 years?
How would it be bottling? The person you quoted made it perfectly clear why he thinks she might not go for a second term which is the fact that she would be 73 which is well beyond the age of retirement in most nations. Being the president of the most powerful nation in the world isn't a joke, it is possibly one of the most demanding positions you can think of especially mentally and you won't hold it against someone of that age not being up for it, would you? Not saying that she definitely wouldn't but after already being in that position for four years one could completely understand why she might not give it a second go. Would be anything but 'bottling'.

It's a very well made video but filled with alot of hyperbolic nonsense. She talks passionately about protecting children and those vulnerable in society, yet unsurprisingly no mention of how she defended a child rapist in the 70s.

Granted, she looks like a saint and progressive champion next to her opponent, but she's still pretty much the worst the Democrats have to offer.

That's a nonsensical attack Kaos...if you really want to attack her on children there's genuine ways to do it:
While the Clintons in their stump speeches talk up Hillary’s community roots at the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF), her former mentor, CDF president Marian Wright Edelman, told Democracy Now in 2007 that, in light of the Clintons’ support for welfare reform, Hillary “is an old friend but they are not friends in politics.”
Her legacy of "protecting children" starts from a job she did for a few years as a lawyer, yet her organisation dumped her after 1996 and her support for welfare reform, that, of course, affects disproportionately women and children and minorities. Or to put it in Hillary-speak, "deadbeats."

It's absurd and scary that a person like Trump could end up as president, but at the same time it's going to be very entertaining to see it all unfold. I'd say the same about Clinton except it won't be very entertaining.

So 538 now has Florida, NC and NV all going blue.
Tomorrow wont really be that exciting. Oh well.

What argument are you referring to?

She did the job she was supposed to do. Literally nothing that she did there was wrong. Guilty people are appointed lawyers, and sometimes due to a combination of the defence being good, the prosecution being shit, or a multitude of other reasons guilty people may walk. That is not in the slightest a negative on the lawyer, who did the job they were supposed to do. There's literally nothing wrong with it whatsoever.

Erm, no.

BTW, That's Faux's last poll for this campaign they are reporting Clinton beating Drumpf in all their polls and questions, favourability, temperament, trustworthiness. And they have her ahead by 2 points in Florida too.

Polls are all over the place. I've seen some with him up by +5 and her up by +4 nationally. Bottom line, it's the state by state votes that count, and by most accounts the battleground states are all neck and neck.

Yes, but they are correlated as past data shows. Ask any poll aggregator whether Nate or anyone else.

I think Nate said that if she's +3.5 or so , she's all but guaranteed a win.

Jesus Christ, how bitter are you? She was the appointed defence attorney, she didn't pick that case to make a name for herself. Whatever you say about her emails and trust worthiness, this woman has a track record of social service for over 30 years. It's absolute madness to question on her on this. She's running on a ticket that promises status quo and consolidation of Obama years.

Are you expecting a Che in the jungles to contest the US elections and win? The best thing that US can do right now is a centrist candidate.

Not at all, the Dems had a tremendous and likeable candidate in Bernie, who not only is a genuine progressive, but who would have also likely destroyed Trump in a landslide. Unfortunately, the Dems went out of their way to make sure he didn't win so they could go with their establishment favourite wall street shill. And now they're in danger of losing thanks to their sound judgement of going with the 'safe centrist' option , go figure.

For fecks sake, he's lying his arse off yet again! Saying everyone left when Beyoncé and Jay Z performed, the crowd all walked out, and by the time Hillary got up to talk the place was empty. Then he goes on to mocking Beyoncé and Jay Z saying "were they singing or talking? talking I think, maybe both" but he was mocking the art of rapping for sure.

Yeah you go Donald, way to gain the vote of youngsters, women and minorities by attacking two of the most popular artists around, you moron.

Trump waving to someone to the left of the camera with one arm up with his palm and fingers extended.
The camera cut away straight away, i hope to God somebody took a screen shot.

Although i agree that Bernie is the man, I think you're very very naive here. I believe Bernie would lose. By a lot. Being a socialist is not only looked down on in large parts of the US, it's considered to be some sort of treason (correct me if I'm wrong, Americans). No way would a self described socialist win a US election in 2016.

I didn't call her a hypocrite, nor do I blame her. I just find it laughable how that video makes her out to be this Mother Theresa character in US politics.

Putting my tongue in cheek example aside, there are a million and one other examples that put her firmly on the opposite end of genuine progressives. Namely her affinity to wall street and how she loves a good war or two and let's not forget her historical opposition to gay marriage, the virtue of a true progressive. Again, unsurprising those weren't included in her inspirational highlight reel.
The irony of someone that's said they'd prefer Trump to win accusing someone else of being on the "opposite end to true progressives".

The polls had him winning convincingly in a hypothetical head to head with Trump, much more than Clinton.

According to Washington Post .Huge turn out of Hispanics in Florida . They are a complex group but could be good news for Hillary

Why the hell would she talk about that? Also, does that one incident wipe out her other work for children?

I think Bernie would've done well against Trump (assuming all the mistakes Trump made would've been repeated if he faced Bernie).

That said, it would've been incredibly contentious and Trump would've dragged Bernie through the mud the entire way, making up loads of lies against him.

Perhaps, but Bernie has way less skeletons in his closet then Hillary; not to mention he would have run circles around Trump in the debates.

When did I say that?
That would be the better assumption to make. I think they'd either go Green or not bother voting at all. Incidentally if I were a Yank I'd do the same (vote Green), not vote Trump. Just because I prefer Trump to Hillary doesn't mean I'd vote for the former.

So I guess we're all going to need a new thread to live in after Wednesday :(
I don't know, the meltdown could cause this thread to get another few hundred pages.
Suggestion guys, if the mods allow us to get really nasty about trump for a few weeks he might grace this forum with his best words. If it gets really bad he will definately come. Mods, if someone signs up with the name The Real DonaldTrump, fast track that motherfecker to promotion and only allow him to post here and RAWK goes in to meltdown. Oh my the glorious fun we would have.

Have you read why she defended the alleged rapist?
That's just throwing shit out there without any context and using false statements. More typical of Trump's behaviour.

Did you forget your point about Orlando halfway through? I don't see what connection it has to the rest of your post.
Haha. Fair.

The point was that while the election was far, and I was just peeping the news about, I thought it was just a formality. Trump is awful, has a detestable personality and Clinton being the household name in politics would walk all over him. But as I started watching closely, things didn't seemed so black and white.

That's not what is happening, and mostly because Hillary in spite of being famous politician, can't actually walk the walk. Her decisions as secretary of state are being shown worse at every new detail, her past coming alive again when her husband was president (Rape alegations, the super predators, the women she harassed), the details about her foundation, the donations and in the end, the Clinton control (or ties) with the great part of the media, her debate and confrontation skills... She's just awful, and with no substance at all, and dangerously tied with some nasty shit. Won't even talk about the Podesta e-mails, because it's too bizarre and can't tell what is true.

I said what I think about Trump, but I'm refusing to accept this speech that if Trump wins, it's going to be Nazi America. He'll kick immigrants, and chastise black people. This doom scenario that some keep bringing up. This he can't be president, because he's just a TV personality talk.

US had an actor as president, an Austrian bodybuilder and governor. Trump would not be the end of US. And like it or not, I think he's way better suited than her economically speaking.

with all due respect, go feck yourself with that comment.

@Ubik My post says I wouldn't vote for him, granted I was probably very bitter to make that naive preference (it was fresh from Bernie losing! ).

Truth is I despise both candidates, Hillary would probably be less of a disaster but in no ways a consolation.

Erm, thanks?
Don't thank me, a comment like that belongs up an ass and only brought out when you are alone. Would you like to talk about how the prosecution fecked that case and that woman who Trump paraded at the debate didn't know Hillary Rodham was on the defense until years later.
Are you willing to talk about the long long long list of disgusting shit trump and by extension his family and campaign have done to people. Any way, what time is it over there in Macedonia ;)

No they're not.
This is a lot closer than it should be considering her main opponent is a lying, misogynistic, racist, possible sex offending narcissist. This should have been a cake walk for the Dems but they went with probably the most dishonest and disliked candidate.

It's a lot closer than it should be, you're right. But it still is a cake walk for the dems, it's nowhere near close. There is no indication at all that there is any danger of Trump winning bar a complete surprise that nobody has seen coming.

You're preaching to the choir regarding Trump. No idea what the feck you're on about regarding Macedonia.
