Would be funny if Trumps wins from here, just to see the fallout! Maybe a bit like Brexit ;)
 
It's only really Trump who is loving the Russians I think. Pence came out strongly against Putin in the VP debate, and nearly all the Republicans I saw on TV during the takeover of Crimea were calling for military action against Putin and Russia. I really don't think many share his love of Putin and I bet there are many that are fuming behind the scenes. I also would like to bet that they hate his transparency over his love for Putin because of the business and money ties to Russia.

I was going to say something similar too. I find @Raoul's posts refreshing because he reports things as they are most of the time. He seems to be able to post with little emotion at times. He seems very controlled and doesn't go off on many rants, or make sweeping assertions or generalisations. However, both he and I said unequivocally that Trump would combust and it would be Tremendous! And I know I was sweating for a while because he did seem to be able to shake anything off and nothing seemed to be able to bring him down. Really I should have stayed calm as it was obvious, but I must admit, as you said DoTA, my fears did shine through in many posts. Thankfully, I think I can relax a little more now and hopefully that should show in my posts. :)

So, if f.e. Obama would express that he likes Putin and their policy, conservatives would try to rip him apart for that, but if their "strongman" talkes such BS, they say "yeah, Russia is great" ? What a mental gymnastic move.

So why dont attack the Democrates him strongly on this point? I mean would be a great opportunity to steal conservative votes for Trump, wouldnt it? Or i missed this? I mean thats a such a weakness, its a controversial in their rows, cause troubles in the middle of the conservatives. I would massivly attack on this point. Trump isnt gonna have aswers for some questions you could ask in this case.

The decline of the repubs is directly attributable to Citizen's United. All of the reasonable ones are terrified of being primaried by a big-money backed TP nutter so they have to toe the line and spout nonsense to stay in their seat. It's ironic that the dems plan to moderate the SCOTUS and overturn the decision will probably lead to more reasonable repubs getting elected.

But the country will win if that happens.
 
Rasmussen's gone back to +5 (from +7) Clinton when including the day after the debate, so some movement back but not much.

Once the dust settles down, some kind of political oversight committee should audit the crap out of his campaign and ask him to account for every cent of money that was donated into it. At this point this is clearly a money grabbing exercise to get his kids and benefactors paid with the visage of running a political campaign.
