I would expect him to as he does well.

Do you think Lukaku would score against Real Madrid and Barcelona in the CL knockout?

he wasnt a first teamer either. I wonder if he ever been in a team were he lead the line on a week in week out basis

If we do agree that we are looking for a strong but mobile striker, who also has excellent technique and thrives in counter-attacking play, then I don't know why there are so many people surprised with Morata or don't see why we prefer him to Lukaku.

Lukaku is proven PL but you will never see Lukaku to be able to dribble with good ball control like what Morata did to Bayern. Apart from goals, Lukaku is more about pace and strength only.

That's about as unremarkable a dribble, as you can possibly see, where someone beat that many players.

At least it was better than the Payet goal that MOTD wet themselves over, the one with about 5 players falling over as if they were drunk.

If morata is the answer, i am not sure what is the question. If we are in for title race, then unsettle robert lewandowski at beyern. Bayern has lost it mojo in champions league and Bundesliga is way too easy for him. Let us give him the adventure of games played by men ala premier league.

Lewandowski is beyond unrealistic. Just extended his contract at Bayern:

And one of the strongest negotiators in club football (who're also among the financial elite) won't let a Top 2 number 9 leave when a player of his class cannot be replaced in the open market, especially they've already lost experienced players like Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Alonso in recent years. We'd be barking up the wrong tree with any approach for him.

As much as I love Lewandowski to join us,
Bayern has made confirmation officially that Lewandowski is going to stay. Why would Lewandowski is unsettle in Bayern just because he's feeling a little disappointed for not being a Bundesliga top scorer last season. I'm sure he prefers to win something with the club over individual achievement. He's a grown up man.

Really not that to be honest.

That is the exactly goal that came up in my mind when I watched Morata's one vs Bayern. Compare to Morata's one, Lukaku's solo goal vs Chelsea is a poor ball control and only pure strength. So messy. While the Morata's one is due to his dribbling skills, good ball control and strength.

I am surprised that you are trying to against my post by showing that goal. I just don't understand how can you think that Lukaku's solo goal vs Chelsea is showing that he is able to dribble the ball with good ball control.

I think there is no point in debating who is better Lukaku or Morata because we will have to see that when the new season starts(If we sign Morata), We are most probably going to sign Morata and Looks like Chelsea are going to sign Lukaku. All of us should wait before Morata kicks a ball in EPL before berating him and most importantly we should back the player our club will sign, be it Morata whoever else.We should not think about the money involved to sign Morata. What will you guys prefer, Us going into the season with Rashford and Martial as our strikers or coughing up 90 Million Euros for Morata and going with those three as our striking options.I know which one i would choose.

This. Morata seems to be Jose's choice, so let's all hope that he will flourish here, which I think he will. Similarly, if Jose were to buy Matic instead of Fabinho, I am not going to spend the entire season moaning why we bought Matic instead. I rather get more options in, than to save the money and have lesser options to choose from.

Exactly, We saw last season how we did not have enough cover for players once the players started to get injured.Instead of risking getting into that scenario again we should sign players who would be useful if such type of situation arises again.Without Ibra we had to rely on Rashford who is immensely talented but frankly not mature enough to lead our attack. Morata will give us that Maturity and as a lot of posters here have said he seems to be a big game player.I am excited by the prospect of signing Morata(no matter how much money we play for him).I wasn't in the Morata signing camp earlier on because i though we might have a chance to sign Aubamayeng, since he isn't coming here i would prefer signing Morata.Let's see how all of this pans out.

Longest honeymoon ever.
Perez said in his re-election interview that he "loves transfers that take till august"

I have no doubt he is fecking us around for 90m and Woodward is more than likely trying to hide a lot of that 90m in bonuses. When it comes to bonuses, it's going to take awhile.

I love a good Mexican standoff. Once they think they can sign the French lad, they'll come knocking to sell Morata to partially fund it....

Or the transfer is done and we're just allowing him to enjoy his honeymoon and holidays as the guy just got marrried. Also I find it hilarious that you think they can't just replace Moratta with a dirt cheap striker from La liga. They don't need Mbappe to replace their backup who is miles off ever being their first choice.
