He got married yesterday

Like i told before, there is always some excuse why United can't sign player just yet. World Cup, Euros, American tour, Asian tour, Australian tour, players holiday, Woodwards holiday, weddings, transfer ban... And like i told too, i really think United are not very good to close deals. City usually can do it faster, same Bayern.

What can united do for those things? We closed every deal before the season started last 2 seasons (other than martial)

The alternative is sign players from league 1 who don't play in world cups and all

I hope he stays at Madrid or signs for someone else.
We need a striker and Morata fits Jose's system like a glove.

I don't get people who don't want him. If it's about cash, forget about it - Utd won't dip into your savings for him so don't worry.

Yeah, we need Woodward to infiltrate the wedding to get the job done.

How does he fit into Jose's system? Is that a system where your striker doesn't score many goals, doesn't assist many others and isn't the strong, powerful striker that he usually likes to have?

And the money isn't an issue really unless it prevents the club from spending it on someone better (which isn't hard) or in a position which we need more.

Because he's not really that good. At all.

Pure rubbish.

This is the reason I want Belotti over Morata, as I feel the former is far better suited to a 4-2-3-1 system - Jose's favoured formation - and is generally speaking the type of player that Jose would go for. Maybe Jose feels he is attainable at present, but I'd be suprised if he didn't even enquire about his availability.

While we are on the wedding theme.

Now on to Manchester for the honeymoon?

I don't know what they can do because i don't know what they do now. But i think almost everybody here knows City is better than United with transfer. Same with Bayern and maybe even Chelsea. They just do it smooth and are agressive if needed. Or don't you (or somebody else) agree it? From top6 teams Arsenal are more bad than United. They can't close any good deal, except Sanchez.

How is city better? They have signed one player. Same as us. Last year too we signed all our players more or less the same time.

What's the rush? Other than placating impatient fans, which is about as low a priority as I can think of, the difference between signing someone in June or July is negligible. On the flipside, desperately trying to negotiate a deal will only weaken your hand in negotiations.

The only thing I would worry about is our manager being annoyed if he doesn't get the players he wants in time for this tour. That is what he asked for, what he expects.

While it's a very reasonable expectation, he was undoubtedly expected to challenge for the title and fell short of that by a long way. If he kicks up a fuss over that I can't imagine it would have much of an impact in thar context. Conte can do it because he significantly overachieved. Mourinho doesn't have thar kind of internal stature and credibility yet.

I don't understand what's the relation or comparison between both things. Any manager has the right to have his transfers done before the pre-season whatever happened in the previous season.

Players need time to integrate, time and time again we have seen it takes a while for players to get used to their new surroundings. That's where a proper pre-season establishes its importance. Also , other clubs might sneak in and try to highjack a deal.

I know this sounds idealistic, but shouldn't we be negotiating for players that really want to come and play for us?
Are these modern day players all so bloody mercenary?

Its ON guys!!
Time for your conspiracy muppets to do your work on those pics to see if there are any signs for us in his wedding photos!
