You don't care if we come in second place or 17th but want to see steady progress? What the steady progress of winning the league immediately or else you throw a fit because even if we came second that wouldn't prove anything its as good as 17th... This view is pretty weird to me.
It is not that HE needs more time, it is that there needs to be better interpretation of time in it self. I do think we should be getting more out time, clearly. We use ages to make decisions and they are very random. It is much better to use the time to build some kind of blueprint to follow, then things will speed up down the road. I do think as fans we need to change our perception and reactions to better handle the ups and downs we'll realistically see at the club for a few years. We're not in a position where a quick fix is even possible. Expecting that is setting ourselves up for failure, not realising the task at hand which is a big one.
The moment we see anyone at the club become complacent, that's when we as fans should react. At the moment I think proper changes are being made inside the club. However, it depends on continuing on the same path and not changing objectives because of trouble. We've been managed horribly and we need our club to be solid in reaching its goals. I think Ed has been far too complacent in his job and if anything he is the one who should be at risk if Ole doesn't work out, he needs to do everything Ole says and give it a real go because if Ole doesn't work I don't want to see Ed blame him and switch his agenda to a new "project".
My thinking is, either this is a real project with a true vision or we're being deceived by Woodward. The truth will reveal itself over time, and is not affected by results on the pitch from game to game. So I guess we can sort of agree to that results don't matter.
