Can't wait for the match. My first time seeing United play at Wembley.

As someone who doesn't usually travel to games by coach, am I right in saying it is illegal to drink alcohol on a coach going to a football match?

    Thanks for any clarification.

    Illegal?

With Carrick fit I'm hoping for:
    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Smalling Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mata Ibra Martial
Rashford and Rooney as the 2 main subs. Will probably miss watching the game unfortunately, plane back home lands shortly before the game starts so might make it to the second half at most if there's no traffic.

Well I suspect there is going to be a lot of law breakers on Sunday going down the M1.

He's barely played all season and you want to start him in a final?

It's only the league cup final so let's rotate some players ;)

    Romero
    Valencia Rojo Smalling Blind
    Schweinsteiger
    Herrera Fellaini
    Lingard Rooney Martial

No I want to start with 4-2-3-1. But if we must go 4-3-3 my preference would be for a midfielder that will cover more ground against an opposition with a mobile midfield; Not one that goes into hiding whenever he's pressed.

Jose will want to win this and will put out a strong side.
If Jones is fit he could partner Rojo, otherwise it will be Bailly and Smalling.
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mata Zlatan Martial

If no Carrick, the I'd expect Lingard to come in and rotate centrally with Mata.

    Rooney will be a sub.

How will Schweini cover more than Fellaini? I am opposed to seeing the big guy in the final because despite what he revels in, his true position was never DM to begin with; but I think in terms of match fitness and gameplan, Fellaini is a natural choice over someone who had his first start in an United shirt since 2 years , last week.

If Fellaini played it would be in 4-2-3-1, not a 433.

Yes it's true, but many football fans get round it by standing up and hoping a few times every few miles. This hoping technique technically means you aren't on the coach all the time.

Stick to that and you'll be fine.

Very nervous about this game now. I think we need to go back to a proper 3 man midfield now that Mhki is out. Martial, Ibra and Mata as the front 3 with Herrera, Pogba and Carrick in midfield. Also really don't want to see Darmian at LB.

Just play Rooney or Lingard as the ten, it's all good.

Bailly hasn't been the same after coming from the AFCON. Besides getting expelled in the last game without any need whatsoever, he started the Saint-Etienne home game completely out of focus, giving away several balls at the back in the first minutes. I love the player and think he's our best center-back, but he has to put his act together. I suspect that Jones, if (big if, I know) he's recovered, might get a chance here.

And Smalling and Rojo have looked better? Looked absolutely clueless on Blackburn's goal and on Hull's 2nd goal in the league cup 2nd leg.

MEN spotted 21 players in the travelling squad, Mata not one of them.

    Wayne Rooney
    Zlatan Ibrahimovic
    Paul Pogba
    Luke Shaw
    Chris Smalling
    Michael Carrick
    Jesse Lingard
    Anthony Martial
    David De Gea
    Ashley Young
    Daley Blind
    Phil Jones
    Bastian Schweinsteiger
    Marcos Rojo
    Eric Bailly
    Ander Herrera
    Marouane Fellaini
    Marcus Rashford
    Matteo Darmian
    Timothy Fosu-Mensah
    Sergio Romero

Maybe Mata's so small he fits in someone else's luggage? I can't think of any reason why he shouldn't be in the starting XI, nevermind the traveling squad. I really hope he's not injured.

With Mata & Mikhi out I'd be tempted to play Rooney, Martial, Rashford, Ibra as our front 4, but our ball retention would be horrendous.

We're in for a very tough game with 2 Ms out, so we probably have to pick Carrick and hope we knick it with the odd chance.

Yeah I wouldn't trust that list too much, Valencia seemed to be seen in one video, Henderson in one shot, too.
