Martial was alright. He was involved in 2 goals, and had a couple of very good runs. Nowhere near his best from last season, but maybe he's slowly getting back there.Quite a run we've had since Chelsea.From here the only way is up.
The players will get confidence as well as the precious experience of winning as a group.
This will serve the club well in a few months from now, in the Europa League and FA cup finals. We need to build on this and press on to win both of them now. What a season that would be.
And of course we have now overtaken Liverpool's overall trophy haul. What a glorious day. The scousers can watch and weep. Losers haven't won squat for years now.

Of course he shouldn't be. We made mistakes today. He has every right to demand more from the team. However now is not the best time to conduct an inquest. Let the players celebrate their first significant victory under his management. This is a long term project - there will be another time to analyse their mistakes and motivate them to improve. His head is all over Europe as it is so big. But he is begining to make United a formidable team again despite us being not the best team today. I have full confidence in his managerial skills. Just worried about his tantrums that he seems to have now and then. I am happy he is our manager.
