No there wouldn't. You don't get 3 or 4 studs up diving in tackles every game. Mariner deemed Herrera's a yellow card. Are you saying you agree it's on the same level?There would be 3 or 4 sendings off every single game if those tackles are reds.
They certainly gained an advantage! Our player marking the Southampton "offside" player (Smalling I think) ran with him – as he can hardly hope that the officials will "spot" he was offside.
If he didn't go with the decoy player the room would not have existed for the goal to be scored … therefore the offside decoy play influenced the scoring of the goal and Southampton "gained an advantage" by using the deliberately offside decoy runner
