But, we're looking good, hopefully a win, but these guys are dangerous as well.

We can give the benefit of the doubt to Depay as he's young and will have some bad games. Rooney hasn't been great at all, and needs to calm down. The chance he had was just a matter of calming down and taking the shot.

This is the most fluent I've seen us play in a long time. We should be winning comfortably. The way we are playing I can just feel we will score. Not felt that assured in a long time.

Mata, martial, BFS all been excellent. Rooney, other than his miss has played well too.

The yellow cards now are a big worry. Ref looks card happy.

Valencia has been crap. Memphis is so hit and miss I'd bring on Young. We need some consistency here.

Great half. Should be ahead. Have to keep our wits about us and hopefully keep going for the throat in the second half. Think everyone has played well. Rooney is obviously going to get some stick from various quarters. I don't feel the need to chime in yet. Don't get the criticism of Depay. BFS activated god mode for about 30 minutes of that half, and it was a joy to behold.

Mata, Memphis, Martial and Schweinsteiger by far our best players today. The others have been a bit all over the place. Mata has been the best by far though, creating so many chances and deserved that goal. We should be ahead by a few here so far, and would've been if the ref didn't wrongly call Martial offside. We need to make sure not to get hit on the break again in the second half. It was the same in the PSV game, with us playing well but fecking up in the end and not being able to get the goal. We need the go ahead goal.

We have seen it a million times now. When you concede possession the whole time the opponent is bound to get in threatening situations and Man Utd is still Man Utd, they'll punish it more often than not. No need for Wolfsburg to give them that much respect.

Creating a lot of chances but finishing has been really poor. At the end we got out of the jail with that soft penalty even though we deserve to atleast be level if not winning.

They are winning, in the C1, they gain more to park the bus right now. United has to score another one and wait, in a way or another, all the balls have to go to Martial cause he's the one who can score without trembling. One more goal will be enough to scare Wolfsburg.

Ref's a bit barmy. Never a yellow for Schneiderlin. Not good to have both holding midfielders on a yellow. Both love a slide tackle. One of them will be taken off soon, surely.

He didn't tonight, which was a shame, but his off the ball work is outrageously good.

I don't really understand the criticism in here, to be honest. This is the most dynamic a midfield United have seen in years.

I agree. He is supposed to provide energy and a defensive shield. But he isn't playing very well right now. His passing is specially frustrating.

I play in a park where people have bellies the size of a town and they would have scored the chance rooney missed. I hope LVG noted that, herrera behind martial would be great. I also think he would make better passes to send martial on goal which even i could see on 3 occasions that rooney ignored or did not see at all.

This could be an idea. Dante is dominating the penalty box and if Fellaini came in, Dante would probably be forced to mark him, which may release Martial.
The problem is that Rooney is undroppable, no matter how bad he plays.
