Herrera seems like a waste of £30million with each passing week. Why on earth did lvg sanction the deal if he doesn't want to play him.

Much rather have him in there than Mata tbh.

Not sure how we will line up with that. I could see us playing 3-5-2 and Carrick being one of the centre backs. Not sure if we will play a diamond with Carrick and Blind in the same side and can't see one of Mata or Rooney playing wide for a 4-3-3.

It's common sense given our defenders enjoy injuring themselves throughout the games. 3 defenders on the bench is the bare minimum!

Still very early days for Herrera I'd say, patience is key. LvG isn't playing his preferred system with the right players yet, so we'll see how things pan out.

Woodward probably had his heart set on completing the deal after the previous summers debacle. I doubt LVG was in any position to tell Woodward to drop it.
