Why does LVG insist on playing this damn 3-5-2 formation?? it was never part of his philosophy in the past, he was always a 4-3-3 man. He even stated the only reason he went with it during the World Cup was due to Strootman getting injured, just because he had moderate success with it on the Dutch national team doesn't mean it will work well at United which has proved the case this season with our awful performances whenever we use the bloody formation.

He might be thinking of that stat that United have always had a youth product involved for many decades (since the 1950s?). But the stat is that there has always been a youth product in the squad, not in the starting XI.
