I don't agree, I think the games are very similar but with a few less chances created and given. I'd rather be less error prone and stable than create so many chances especially if we're being wasteful (which we were/are in both games).

Yep, he's very frustratin when he isn't on form and similarily to Nani, he seems to not know that he isn't playing well and so shoots from every position.

LVG rules are;

- Left sides players on the left (Blind,Shaw, RVP) So forget back 4, if only Blackett comes on it will work.

Blind needs to come into midfield to take Davis off Carrick, give Carrick freedom and we can string a few passes.
One of Rooney or Mata has to come off, we need Di Maria for his pace at the moment.

Carrick is in Davis Back pocket so Mata, Rooney are going through motions and confused, move Blind up, moves carrick up for and gives freedom for him to lose Davis in order to release, Di Maria, RVP, Valencia, Shaw and Mata/Rooney.

Doesnt take a genius, Herrera, Fellaini etc wont chnage the game

Disjointed performance so far, probably not helped by Rooney having a mare in midfield. Di Maria, RvP and the wingbacks have also been poor. If Shaw really is injured, it would probably be worth bringing on Herrera in his place, and switching to a 4-2-3-1 with Di Maria wide, and Rooney further forward supporting RvP.

We've been at our best going forward in that formation but the defending was diabolical. It hasn't been great in the current formation but we haven't been conceding as much.
