Could be 4 or 3 at the back. Hopefully it is 4-3-3.

    Great to have Rafael back.

Whichever formation it is we still have the same problems we've had all season, an attack devoid of width, pace or penetration. His team selections/formations have been a fu cking joke so far.

Great to have Pereira on the bench.

And ideal scenario we are leading and then Falcao comes on to the loudest OT noise ever.

Reg formation, if it's 352 with Herrera/Di Maria/Mata in midfield then it's just unbalanced. It might just work against weaker teams but even that is questionable.
    Anyway can't wait!!

So, after seeing the lineups, how do you think the game will go? Click the link in the tweet below to vote on our wedgies poll. Results will be posted just before kick-off.

    So it's probably this:

    ----------- de Gea
    Rafa - Evans - Blackett - Rojo
    -------------Blind
    ----- Herrera -- Di Maria
    Mata ----------------------Rooney
    ----------- van Persie

    :D:drool::drool:

I may be wrong, but I think this is the formation tbh

    De Gea

    Rafael, Evans, Blackett, Rojo
    Blind
    Herrera, Di Maria
    Mata
    Van Persie, Rooney
Of course we could always change formations mid game with that team anyway.

Disappointed that we are still playing the 352.433 is much better suited to our players imo.Delighted to see Rafael back though.

QPR XI v Man Utd: Green, Isla, Ferdinand, Caulker, Hill, Sandro, Kranjcar, Fer, Phillips, Austin, Hoilett

I think Shaw and Falcao are nailed on as guys playing in the 2nd half. I hope Januzaj gets some playing time as well.

With just under an hour to go until kick-off, why not give our podcast a listen?

Episode 5 is out now, and in it we look back at the games against MK Dons and Burnley. We talk all things Danny Welbeck, Falcao and Blind before a preview on Ferdinand's return to Old Trafford with Queens Park Rangers next Sunday.

Excellently balanced side. Let's hope this is what he is doing.

Fupping 3 at the back again. :wenger:

We are so negative and bland and we also look like we will concede on every attack opponents go on so far using that formation, it just looks so weak.

just play the freaking team and diamond formation that some of these caf members have posted it's a much better formation and will suit us more.

Disappointed Falcao isn't starting too what will it take to drop the unde performing Rooney or van Persie. Falcao better get decent minutes when he does come on and not a chicha 10 minute job.

*****Nevermind confirmed 4 at the back

Delighted with that line up. Fletcher getting pulled out is brilliant. Blind should do a much better job protecting the back four and keeping things ticking over.

Mata, Rooney, Di Maria, Van Persie. :D:drool:

Really should hammer this lot, with all due respect to 'Arry and his team.

The club usually tweets wing-backs as part of the midfield. Rafael's name was straight after De Gea's so it's definitely a flat back four.

Nice, nice.... Very nice. Would have wanted to see Shaw for Rojo and Falcao for Rooney but this is almost as good as it gets.

Even van Gaal can not shoehorn Falcao into this team. Glad he understand what team balance is.

Nevertheless, looking forward to the game. Hopefully, Rooney, van Persie and Mata does not continue to be a shite attacking trio.

it's 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-1-2 diamond so good news.

Rafa, Evans, Rojo, Blackett at the back with probably Blind in DM.

why not read other post before posting , you would then see we are not playing 3 at the back.
Falcao is not 100% match fit, makes sense not to start him.

Hope to see Falcao at some point and hoping for a 3-0, 4-0 thrashing of QPR

    Anyone any decent stream sites?

You think they've been good so far? We've been awful in every game barely looking threatening against Swansea, Sunderland and Burnley. Is what I said incorrect?

That his formations/selections has been a fecking joke? Yes, that is both incorrect and disrespectful.

No, we have not been good - there you were right.

Thank feck for 4 at the back! Great lineup but relying a lot on Di Maria I think. 5-0 ! :D
