Back to a back four? Rafael starting a game? What a time to be alive. Potentially.

I love the arrows. Do you think they will go anywhere else on the field?
That would require the players to express themselves, so of course not.

    Anyway..

    de Gea
    Rafael - Jones - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind
    Fellaini - di Maria
    Mata
    Falcao - Rooney (c)

Subs: Valdes, Smalling, Herrera, Valencia, Januzaj, van Persie, Wilson
Most of the team picks itself if we're reverting to a back four, particularly the defence with Smalling 50/50. I'm inclined to opt for Fellaini in midfield if we're going for a diamond, as we will be more vulnerable and passive through midfield in this formation than we were in the 3-5-2.

I want to fit Herrera in there really, but I want Blind, Fellaini, Mata and of course Rooney and di Maria to start and placing Herrera in the team at the expense of Falcao would likely mean di Maria on the wing, or as a striker where he obviously struggles and Fellaini as part of a double pivot where his performances suffers more.

Nope. Will have to watch it on some American stream.

A damn shame that you have to scramble for streams from the US when you live in the country the game is taking place in. I probably see more games on tv than you guys!

It's not too bad in Ireland because they are allowed to show 3pm games here. They can only show one 3pm KO and for some reason today Setanta have chosen the Sunderland game. No 3pm games can be televised at all in England (and that includes foreign football).

Not surprised but also not amused about Herrera's constant bench place, but I'm really starting to get furious that we keep playing Rooney in CM, he's our best striker FFS! Play him upfront and get the rewards. There are enough fit CM available.

4-4-2 diamond with 1 central midfielder? van Gaal is a fecking weirdo

Could anyone invite me to that group with streams or whatever, seing as some idiot chose to show Pool, and that other site has been taken down?

Would be delighted if i saw that LvG rewards Januzaj's good performance against Cambridge with another start.
I would presume anyone who doesn't play today will play against Cambridge. Also take note Januzaj great game was against Cambridge not a PL team.

Rooney needs to play up top, he's not a good enough mid.

First time in years we have not been able to watch a United match live. It's a fecking disgrace - to quote Drogba.

We had one last season as well. We're always running a risk of missing a game when LFC play at the same time, especially considering the Liverpool fanatics at TV2.

gone VP as fantasy footy captain, so hope he smashes Leicester a new one.

Any other year, VP at home to the bottom club would be beyond the obvious choice, but today it almost feels like a punt!

Ah right, I must have suppressed that memory!

Does Bates sit in a tower far away, with his binoculars and spy on our training.

Enough game with the two strikers hobbling laboriously into each other's way? Should be fun. I'm not sure what else Ander has to do to merit a start, he was by far the best player against Cambridge when he came on. If Bates is correct, of course.

    My predicted line up:

De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Fellani, Di Maria, Rooney; Falcao, van Persie

    Januzaj, Herrera, Mata

Maybe he is going to use him in the F.A. Cup. It doesn't help the game is on Tuesday. I don't like that team coming out so early, surely it is giving Leicester the time to change their team to suit. The club need to tell him to keep his trap shut.

    My predicted line up:

De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Fellani, Di Maria, Rooney; Falcao, van Persie

    Januzaj, Herrera, Mata

Gone with almost the same, just Januzaj for Fellaini and Herrera as sub. In Bates we trust.

Ffs I've missed the deadline to remove Carrick from my predicted line up :(
