feck RVP off, put Rooney up front and Ander in the middle.. but what the feck do I know, I'm just a fan.

I couldn't care less for how many years LVG has managed if the two man midfield today is Blind and Rooney, how irresponsible is that when Fellaini and Herrera are on the bench along with Perreira.
I hope it's not true, it cringe-worthy when LVG talks about balance and composition yet fields 3 strikers and 1 midfielder and a player like Mata who doesn't come deep often enough.

This is completely insane. LVG talks about lack of balance, has Fellaini and Herrera available and chooses to play Rooney in CM yet again, with RVP (I love him, but he has been below par) seemingly undropable. Ridiculous.

    ------------------ DDG
    ------------Crazy Bastard------Crazy Bastard------Shaw
    -------------------------Blind
    -----Valencia
    -----------RVP---Rooney--Falcao--Januzaj--Di Maria----

    Looks good

I'd love to know why he isn't picking Herrera, does LVG have a daughter?

This could lead to another 5-3, hopefully in our favour this time.

I wonder how long it'll take for LVG to realise Rooney is not a midfielder. We have a more than capable one in Herrera, even Fellaini for crying out loud.

I suppose that he didn't learn his lessons when they fecking destroyed us 5-3 away from home. No physicality, no midfielders, prepared to see di Maria at #10 (Rooney is right footed for RCM, Januzaj is left footed for LCM), no Herrera, no balance, three fecking strikers who'll struggle for chances.

Way to feck up even the diamond.

Rooney in midfield over Fellaini and Herrera. Hilarious. Just going to hurt the team more each passing week. Also, Januzaj? Really? He's done nothing this season.

Will need a very disciplined performance today from Rooney given the midfield.

The good news IMV is Januzaj is back

It's now like he is going to prove that going defensie was the right way, by picking three strikers.
"See I told you the 4 defence is unbalanced and gives a twitchy ass"
Despite the fact that its the players he puts out making it unbalanced.

Using falcao and rvp together is basically like playing with 9 men because how little they do.

Of course we know if it isn't going right, on will come Fellaini and hoof the ball up. I actually picked Herrera and Fellaini both to play. He has gone too attacking tbh. Seeing we are all moaning, we will probably play them off the park.

Oh dear. His own ready mady excuse not to use 442 again. Why not also play Wilson instead of Blind whilw we are at it ...

Please let this work. Please let this work. Please let this work.

    :nervous:

Where will Di Maria end up today? wing, midfield, centre forward? holding? Does LvG know his best position yet after signing him?

He's been under utilized all year. This is his chance.

I'm so confused by his team selections. If he wants balance then this is not the way to get it. Just grow the balls to drop some of the "big players" and/or play them in their correct positions.

One thing about Van Gaal, the guy doesnt bow to the pressure of his team selections. Even Fergie played Tevez when there was a lot of talk the week of a game about him prefering Berba to him. Herrera's been the discussion point all week, you'd think Van Gaal would have just played him to calm this mini-uproar. No idea why he doesnt play him. He was excellent early on.

I hope he's right and we stick 8 past them, but that lineup hurts my eyes a bit.

Think this is a decent side, a little unbalanced, but should be more than enough to beat Leicester at home.
