I have been impressed with Martinez but when you have utter shit to the left, right and in front, what real difference can you make. Then add DDG who is showing the footballing skills of a giraffe and he must be thinking, what the hell of I signed up for.Huge gap in midfield and defense also a problem. Oppos nicely work the space in between them.
Have to be narrow while defending and defense need to move up to close the gap when midfield move up.

Some of the dross like Fred I think we have to live with, but he needs to find the courage to bench the worst of them. Keeping Maguire on as captain was a huge mistake as well.
By that point its only people that always tow the party line, wouldn't surprise me if they're paid shills.Wish I had a screenshot, but there was a point where Maguire is on the ball and pretty high up the pitch. He has no real outlet to pass to and point at Fred to move into a position he can pass to. Fred insists on hiding behind a BHA player instead of making himsef available so they can move forwards with the ball. As a result the ball goes sideways/backwards and the whole unit needs to track back, killing momentum.
And that is just one example of many. Not saying McFred should be on that level, but you’d think EtH would at least sit them down and showing footage of like Modric/Kroos on positioning and training on that. United cannot get the ball out at all. And when they do it is stupid pass after stupid pass. BHA on the other hand do this much better. RemarkableETH were happy with our two last pre season games. Huge worrying sign right there.
