Just watch Fred for that goal. Step 1: commits himself unnecessarily up the pitch, with no game awareness that the RB is ahead of him. Leaves the defenders with a 3 on 3.

Step 2, those 3 defenders go with the 3 attackers, he comes back into the box. And he can see the Brighton runners ahead of him. What does he do? Stands marking nobody, allows the runner to score.

He's simply too (footballing) dim to play in central midfield. Combine that with his 2 attempts to gift Brighton a goal and it's just mind-breaking.

Ronaldo isn't up to match fitness but at least he still has positioning and composure to bury chances. Have him up top, Bruno being the legs behind him, and Fred and Eriksen in midfield to try and get some sense of composure and to advance the ball.

Then later bring on Garnarcho for Rashford. Rashford is doing nothing and at least Garnarcho is a wild card.

Slim pickings but have to work with what we have right now.
