Villa aren't playing like prime Barca. If they were they'd be about 5 up by now without breaking a sweat.

Poor performance but going in level isn't too bad. The header itself looked a bit of a mess but the ball was absolute quality from Andreas, who's again struggling in the centre of midfield. All half Villa have been able to walk through the middle of the park other than Fred's many fouls, and now he's on a yellow I can't see it getting any less porous without a change.

Horrendous half of football. Goal should go back to Rashford, wasn't really coming out and was probably still going to curl in. Andreas Pereira is a trash footballer but got an assist on the first useful thing he's done in months. Still should get subbed off and sold in January. He's so far off the required level it's ridiculous.

Fred has done ok considering he is a 1 man midfield... Nothing special but all the same can't blame him much when Pereira is next to him.

Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire and Williams have all been shit. Actually everyone has been shit, but the defence and midfield especially. We're being outplayed by Villa at Old Trafford, but hopefully Ole will actually change something here and take pereira off. Preferably Mata off for Lingard as well.

Players not available is a poor excuse. There is no system in place even after a year. We are too slow to move the ball and passing is just terrible.

I'm very surprised we're going in level there. Our goal didn't feel like it was coming at all. Very harsh if that goes down as an own goal btw. I suspect it will be awarded to Rashford on review of the goal panel, similar to McTominay ealrier this season.

Anyway great goal by Grealish. Wasn't even that mad at conceding it, but what did annoy me is that Villa continued to dominate the game from there. It wasn't just a case of world class strike against the run of play.

Watching Grealish pick up the ball and charge through the midfield is both painful and brilliant to watch. He's a top player.

This squad is mid table quality if we’re being honest.
If/when we get Poch I hope he actually gets the time to bring in better players, otherwise we’ll be in the same boat we are now.
