Sanchez, mata all deliver on the big stage. Not even going to keep arguing with you on this again but Lingard is a very low quality player and has demonstrated in this game why all that big game nonsense is pointless when it really comes down to it. Play our quality players first and bring on the workhorses against tired legs.

Matic and Herrera are shit today, which is shame, with their better performances we would actually pair them, IMO. Rashford proving that he isn't any worse than Lukaku, it's not some amazing performances but ut'a nothing worse than Lukaku has produced for months, and we are literally without the ball and he is alone in attack.

Mata, Herrera, fred are all well capable of it and have shown it often in the past, whether at different clubs, different managers, or whatever else. Mourinho picks players to break down play, Pep picks players to create and play quick and crisp football. Change squads and both Pep and Jose would select very different teams, with City a lot worse and United a lot better.

i think they'd all do a job for a season or two tbf, and probably a good idea to sign an experienced defender to replace at least two of our mediocre ones. but the point is that city have invested heavily in promising young players over the last few years and they are reaping the benefits as they are starting to hit their prime. City's positioning is well coached, they cover each position, it was like mini total football. Our positioning is so awful, it's literally like upfront and middlers have a free foam and not to cover other position.
