Are you even sure what are you arguing? You're free to believe whatever you want, but we employ the same system with or without Pogba and I called you naive because you believe City's ability to play without their best players is more down to them having quality replacements (bear in mind Silva is playing way out of position in order to replace KDB) and not to them having a formidable system, considering that they've always played the same way, with or without their besy players.

You could have done that and I wouldn't make any fuss over that, because calling someone naive isn't really enough to get that defensive.

Our midfield missed Martial and Rashford a few times. We could really have punished them.

City besides the first 10 mins haven't looked that great.

Weird that Sanchez didn't start. He can keep the ball and keep counters alive.

Feared the worst after the early goal but thought we did well to take the sting out of the game.
Need to attack with a bit more fluency without leaving any gaps for them to exploit and we really do have to stop giving the ball away stupidly.

Our midfield three just can’t compete, no mobility and nowhere near good enough on the ball.

Apart from that one millisecond that Shaw lost Bernando at the far post (which lead to the goal), we've been solid.

I think Sanchez playing the role Rashford is playing would be better. But a great learning experience for Rashy

What on earth do you think Mourinho would manage to do with a midfield of fernandinho, B Silva and D Silva? He would have no idea what to do with them and would leave them on the bench like he always leaves Mata. Pep would put Mata in the midfield 3. That's unheard of for Mourinho, though it also wouldnt work for him because he doesnt know how to set them up to play the way Pep does that makes players like Silva in midfield actually work.

The gap between the 2 squads is mainly there because of managerial quality. Mourinho makes our players look worse. Pep makes his look FAR better.
