I'd be happy with a draw.

We're not going to win the league, nor are we going to drop out of Top 4.

I don't think Newcastle, Spurs and Liverpool are good enough to pass us but we're not good enough to pass City or Arsenal.

    3rd is where we belong.

I was about to write "win tomorrow and we're back in the title race".

Now it's "win tomorrow and we're pretty much guaranteed 3rd".

I feel a draw but can see wins for either team just as likely. So basically I couldn’t be more on the fence.

We are far more settled than Liverpool; sometimes it's hard to know who their best 11 is. Their midfield is weak and their defence has obvious vulnerabilities. I'd be wary of Jota and their forward line generally but with Big Save Dave in his current form I think we'll win no problem.

I think this is an opportunity. Liverpool desperately needs a win and surprisingly this result wont amount to anything for us. We can cash in on Liverpool's desperation, sit back and counter. This should be the tactics for the game. With Spurs/Saudis losing, a Pool win will bring them back to breathing distance of top 4. We have the ideal chance to put the nail in their top 4 coffin.

A draw would do us but a win would be lovely

Not confident of this game. Even under Fergie with the best teams and Liverpool being shite, it was difficult to gain points there. Now, other than the Madrid game and the palace games, Liverpool have collected some decent points.

Spurs lost today, Newcastle lost today. So if Liverpool win, they have an easy run in to the top 4 so they will be confident.

Hopefully we win. Will be a great deal to do a double against them. We haven't done that in quite some seasons now.

Need to just play out the first 20 minutes. But if Liverpool score first, it might be difficult to win.

A loss will cap off a pretty shit weekend for us. Hopefully we can eek out at least a draw. We are better than them but we just don't play well at Anfield.

It is clear that Liverpool are lacking confidence. Its not the well-oiled machine from last season. There are definite chinks, particular their energy levels have dropped significantly in the midfield. So its not as bad as many think. Moreover, this game means everything to them and nothing to us. Hope ETH goes the Mourinho route . Instead of some purist open football, we should camp and shank them. We can definitely get the result.

I’d take a 1-1 draw for this one. Just hope City and/or Arsenal drop points today

Why ok with a draw? We should go in with confidence. We can win this.
And no, Arse and Shitty both won today.

Lot of negativity/doubts on here for this game. I see as a leas than usual pressure game at Anfield. Of course like always we want to win. However, even if we lose, top 4 should be very much in our hands. If we win or maybe even with a draw, top4 is sealed. Title talk has always been optimistic this year so things are looking good.
Would love a Martinez winner in front of the Kop!!

They’ll be up for this. Decent results gone for them so far with Newcastle and spurs losing. We must avoid losing here.

Yes! Followed by looking Carragher in the eyes and doing the LeBron "too small" celebration.

3rd place is pretty much sealed regardless of this game.

I hate this feeling before we play them so much that I wish they just evaporated into space,
and the league would consist of 19 teams.

The pain and disgust of losing to this lot stays longer than the joy of defeating them (yeah yeah, I should find a different sport to follow, I know).

    cnuts.

I'm a little worried about this, maybe just a feeling...definitely take the draw, no injuries or suspensions please...

Arse got FA & Premier League in pocket, really sucks we lost shot at closing gap to 9 with game in hand due to time wasting of Bournemouth.

Pretty great weekend for us so far with Newcastle and Spurs both losing. I'd be happy to take a point off these dorks now.

Klopp was crying about them not getting penalties, the cheeky bugger.

Much like when Klopp was moaning that we were getting too many penalties going our way after which we couldnt get a sniff, or Arteta berating VAR and getting a dodgy pen in the next game, I fully expect a Liverpool penalty tomorrow now.

    feck me, another one.

Off the back of beating Barcelona, winning the League Cup and coming back from a goal down against West Ham.

Oh deary me, I'd be happy with a draw against Liverpool?

I'm going to be fecking devastated if we don't smash these Scouse cnuts.

Because any tiny hopes of league are gone so at least keeps us away from Newcastle & Spurs

Who cares about that, it's Liverpool, I hope we humiliate them, like they've been humiliating us, these past few years.

Imagine if Ten Hag goes into training and says he'd be happy with a fecking draw.

Good grief, what a miserable bunch of cnuts.

It's almost like the season so far never happened.

Just stings we had such a bad week in January after that huge win against City

    100% agree.

Just can't predict this one, almost nothing would surprise me. They could swarm us and win 3-0, or we could control it and win 0-3 with goals in transitions... Could be a classic end to end score draw or a boring 0-0 with neither team taking a massive risk. Either team could just nick it in a pretty normal game by the odd goal in one or three. Just can't call it at all, so I've gone with 1-1 on the predictor!

Due a win away at a big team and at Anfield in particular. EtH has done practically everything else already, so why not this too?

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Varane Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Fred
    Antony Bruno Rashford
    Weghorst

Can't see anything other than this line-up, unless EtH has spotted something from the beginning that no one else has. However, I think EtH is confident enough to always just try to pick his best XI and would rather tweak things as the game unfolds. Having the likes of Garnacho, Sancho, Sabitzer, Dalot, Malacia, and even McTominay on the bench gives me a lot more confidence.
