There are actually fans still saying that signing a top level striker is not this summers number one priority.

The only player we can rely on for goals is Rashford. The opposition nullify him and we are fecked. That is unacceptable for a club of Uniteds stature.

We used to beat them a lot at Anfield, true, but even when we were actually good the games themselves were miserable. 1-0 smash and grabs with us being penned back in our half for the majority of the game - 2007, 2008, 2016 were all wins like that.

We never come here and play well and win comfortably. Even Juanfield ended 2-1 with us sitting back against ten men. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that Liverpool have a lot more easy wins in this fixture than us. And that's true even at Old Trafford.

Fair. We’ve never really thrashed them. Arsenal were our whipping boys…

These lads have completely lost their heads. The defending today has been so bad. It's unreal.

Freakish game, hopefully this is the only "trophy" Liverpool win this season

It will be. They are all but out of the Champions League. They have also been knocked out of the FA Cup.

    Liverpool only have the league.

Its 80 mins and I am still waiting for Antony for his cross to clear the first man, absolute shocking display.

Personally, even if we bounce back and do ok for the remaining bit of the season losing to these pricks like this is the worst you can get and we ain't going to live this down by the scousers. I actually fecking hate this mentality of this team

Its alright to lose to Liverpool at Anfield but to lose in this manner is not acceptable. They have stopped playing since the 50th minute. For sure there has to be a punishment for these players or they will do it again.

Exactly, that's why I've stopped watching. If it had been a tense hard fought defeat, with fatigue getting the better of us, I'd have less of a problem with it but we've been pathetic right from the start. It's like watching us at our worst under Ole. Absolutely pathetic surrender, the commentators acting like Liverpool are amazing, no we are just that bad

He made them run after the Brentford game, they better be running again first thing tomorrow

FFS, this a Thursday night kick about with your mates standard.

Erik will hopefully learn from this and realise he has a bit to go to be on par with the Peps and Klopps of this world.

Apparently its just as bad as a 1-0 defeat though!

This could be extremely damaging for the rest of the season and there's still time for more goals.
