    AWB - Varane - Martinez - Shaw
    Casemiro - Fred
    Bruno - Sabitzer - Rashford
    Weghorst
I certainly don't think we'll get humiliated like last year but I still have a horrible feeling in my gut about this.

That’s a good team but not sure if we need to play Sabitzer plus Fred in a midfield 3 with Casemiro.
Their midfield been absolutely atrocious this season, plus Antony is very good at tracking back, a hard worker and can keep the ball well under pressure, which will be important in this game.

Just let Casemiro gently bully that kid of theirs in midfield, he’s the only midfielder of theirs that’s been somewhat decent this season and grandpa Modric taught him a lesson.

We've yet to play with a lineup like this, I don't know why Anfield would be any different.

    It'll be Antony for Sabitzer.

I think the only question is Sancho or Garnacho. It’s hard to drop Garnacho after that performance.

Haven't had the stomach to watch this fixture in a long time. I always happen to have something important to do because I don't like pain, selfmortification. I am not a masochist.

But now I am ready, bring it on.

Normally I would be shitting bricks but i’m quietly confident about this purely because of the improvements I have seen since the Arsenal loss. Before it, I didn’t see the consistency, resilience mixed well in our games. Now I see real maturity in our game too on top of that. I think we are gonna win.

2-0. Rashford and weghorst. There i said it.

Of course we're going to win. It won't be easy, but nothing worth having ever comes easy. 2-0 is about right but I'd like van dijk to score an own goal.

Also we need to remember if Case played that game we probably win or at least hold the draw.

Never easy at that Anfield. Regardless of the form we're in, this will be a tough game.

I can actually see ten Hag approaching it in a similar manner to Barcelona and Newcastle, where we soaked up pressure and hit on the counter.

Same team we saw in the final.

They've found a bit of form in the league at the right time. Can only see a draw at best.

This is pivotal for them, I don't think we're winning the league so in a way this result won't have a huge effect on us, so I'd snap your hand off for a draw. That said if the boss comes up with a winning plan I won't be too shocked.

Heart says a well due thrashing and payback for last season, head says a hard fought draw at best.

Never had it easy here even in our best years. Shame because when we were shit we made it too easy for them.

Agree with this team. Come on United

We need something out of this game. Still got to go to Newcastle and Spurs

They have more pressure to win, which will invite counters. Ain't no team better than us at counters.

Yeah I don’t watch these games either!

I'm sorry but I just have to ask; why have you named yourself after a twat? Escobar isn't that great either.

He’ll start up front, Weghorst #10 and Bruno on the right
Do we need Weghorst to drop deep against that shit midfield?
I honestly see Rashford through the middle. Their big weakness is playing a high line and getting cut through, surely having Rashford through the middle and adding a Sancho or Garnacho out wide would be a lot more profitable for us?

Always a tough game at Anfield even if they've been shit all season but hopefully Klopp will be stupid enough to play the usual high line and Rashford will have the easy job of getting in behind Trent

    De Gea
    AWB--Varane--Martinez--Shaw
    Casemiro--Fred
    Antony--Bruno--Sancho
    Rashford

Get at them and their high line

    Or

    Antony--Bruno--Rashford
    Weghorst

Just to have Rashford v TAA

Is there a "recommended" United pub in Amsterdam? I will be flying over there on Sunday for work, need to find a place to watch the game.

I’d opt for that purely for that reason you’ve provided below. TAA is absolutely woeful defensively and him up against Rashford 1v1 will be a joyful watch.

Really hope that ETH will show them on a big screen 5-0 game from last season. Most of them were here.

That has to be the turning point for us, stop fear them and pump your chest up. We can win this.

I'd take a draw from this game. I think the league is beyond us. Arsenal are too consistent.

A win would be awesome though

We haven't won at Anfield in 7 years apparently

Sheeeshhhh I knew it was bad but not that bad.

We seem to just completely fall apart at Anfield, no matter how well or badly either team is playing. Players just can’t seem to cope with the occasion. Whereas the Liverpool players thrive on it.

If anyone can change that mentality it’s Erik.
