Doesn't matter how average these cnuts are right now. This is our toughest remaining game of the season.

We'll beat them, we score first then we'll hit them hard on the break and score two more, they might get a late consolation that's about it.

Same 11 as the second half of the cup final.
    1-3 United

In last 6 games in PL they have 5 clean sheets. I don't like that stat at all

It sounds more impressive than it really is

Wolves (2nd worst scoring team. yet they were the 1 match where they conceded in that run, 3 goals)
Palace (bottom 5 in goals scored)
Newcastle (they haven't scored in about a 1/3 of their games)
Everton (least amount of goals scored)
Chelsea (can't buy a goal rn, League 2 Grimsby tonight scored more goals against a Premier league side than Chelsea has in a month)

I think I'd bench Weghorst for this one, give Bruno at LW a go:

    ------------------De Gea------------------
    AWB---Varane---Martinez---Shaw
    -----------------Casemiro-----------------
    ---------Sabitzer---------Fred-------
    ----------------------------------Bruno----
    Antony------Rashford----------------

They play with a high line anyways, so Rashford up top makes sense, and these are arguably our 11 most in form players now that I look at it.

We haven't seen Bruno at LW but if the game is wide open, he'll be looking to hit the front 2 and Fred or Sabitzer (who can take turns making make runs since they're in a 3) anyways, as will the left side of defence you'd figure.

I think Dalot is the better player, so either guy is fine with me. Liverpool have been open and AWB will get more breaks going while Dalot will help us have more of the play in possession. Better at the back post against the taller Gapko. Probably just play both anyways with the 5 subs now and us not being particularly deep without Martial and Eriksen.

I'd be delighted with a draw. I hate games at Anfield more than anything.
Ambition man.. come in. When we were struggling would liverpool have been happy with a draw at OT.

We have a stronger midfield for first time in years than them. Defensively we are far more comfortable now. And genuine threats to hit them on the counter (their weakness)

We really should be hammering pool this weekend to be honest to put the final nail into their coffin for the season.

Forget everything this season. It doesn’t Matter. Would bite hands off for 0-0 right now.

absolutely no way this game finishes with 22 on the park

Annoyingly they are now keeping a lot of clean sheets again.

Almost a free hit match…so I hope United play without fear.

Go all out for the Win but I can’t see United not coming away with at least a point.

I'd take a point right now if you offered me it but we have a real shot at all three. Their midfield is a big issue for them and their defence can be extremely vulnerable to the counter attack.

But still it's the big one where anything can happen and form goes out of the window.

    DDG
    AWB
    Varane
    Martinez
    Shaw
    Casemiro
    Fred
    Antony
    Bruno
    Rashford
    Weghorst

Go with Rashford on the left to start, up against Trent. If that isn’t working switch to Rashford upfront and Garnacho left.

The worst of our remaining games in my opinion. I'm not exactly dreading it though. Nearly a completely fresh back 4 and midfield for this one:

    DDG
    AwB Varane Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Fred
    Bruno
    Antony Weghorst Rashford

If we want to get in behind them we could easily swap Antony for Garnacho and put Rashford centrally. Wout to do a Diego Forlan would be lovely :)

Next : Big Wout against the bESt cb IN PrEmIeRe LEAgue HIStory

The fixture I hate and love in equal measure. Form is pretty meaningless unless of course it’s us who are in bad form !
Would take a nil nil right now with no injuries or red cards. Think we could do them but it is a derby and the biggest derby at that.
    DDG
    AWB
    Varane
    Licha
    Shaw
    Casemiro
    Fred
    Sabitzer
    Antony
    Rashy
    Garnacho.
    My 11.

Need to be very careful around Fabinho if he plays - the referees recently have conditioned him even more than usual to think he has carte blanche to make any thuggish tackle he wants without consequences; serious danger that he targets one of our key players, along with the other twats like Robertson and Henderson.

Otherwise it's the traditional Klopp long-ball that I really hope EtH has properly scouted.

As bad as Liverpool defense in recent time, without threatening them using pace, they're quite comfortable with the possession at the back. Live direct long ball where they counter press higher up the pitch. So I don't think it's good to start WW.

They likely turn up for the game closer to their real quality than their lethargic form this season, too. So I don't think we can afford throwing away a half like vs Barcelona, Leeds (2 times) if we want to win. Have to get it spot on from the start.

I'm sure the nerves will arrive by Sunday and the pre-match build up, but I'm currently a lot more relaxed about an upcoming league game after 3 must win cup matches on the trot.

We're 11 points behind Arsenal so, realistically, the big thing about the league this season is securing top 4 rather than pulling off an unlikely league title. So I'm much more nervous about the remaining cup games as winning another would make an already great season even more amazing.

But it's Liverpool, at Anfield, so I'm sure whatever my head says that, come Sunday, I'll be so nervous hoping we don't lose to the gits.

And likely to be 14 behind by the time we kick off with Arsenal facing Bournemouth at home on Saturday. Sadly I think any slight chance of a title challenge has gone with these last 3 wins for Arsenal. If they'd dropped more points vs Villa then I think they'd have really been wobbling but they got that fluke last minute winner and it's settled them down.

I agree though yeah, sounds strange to say it about a game at Anfield but it'll be less pressure than the last 3 cup games in my opinion. I'd probably take a point.

Great Game to see where we really are. A rivalry game at their place is always a difficult trip. If the players show proper mentality and go out and put a convincing performance in, then perhaps I'll believe that we can chase Arsenal and City down. I'm wary of a letdown game, but the team is flying high.

It'll be a very tough match of course. But imo we definitely have enough to win this. Especially with our mentality atm. Top elite level imo. However I'm a bit worried about our physical though. Accumulative fatigue and sport stress is a real thing. We've played simply an insane amount of football lately and the squad is so thin in quality at some position. If we'd have some more rest I'd be absolutely confident we'll win this.

We have players with lionhearts in this team. I actually feel we would raise our game even more than them and get a good win here.

I was thinking the same. Think Bruno & Weghorst will be rested for this one and Garnacho-Rashford-Sancho-Antony will start for this one to run their players down. Their home form was been quite good (only 1 loss in 14 games), so it's not going to be an easy game. However, like Chelsea showed, they're vulnerable to a fast game.

We are the masters of transitions, while being defensively astute.

You can sure Trent won't play. Klopp will try to contain Rashy,

I think Wout, has to sit this one down because the main Liverpool weakness is behind runs, which he doesn't provide. Or at most he plays the first half.

But something for sure is Ten Hag will win us the game with his management skills.

    Very very relaxed.

Play Ole ball. Absorb their pressure -- since they need to win for any hopes of CL next season -- then counter-attack/sucker punch them.

Snap your hand right now for a draw. Anfield is a hard ground for us for some reason even in Fergie days. They are coming back in form just in time

I think I'd bench Weghorst for this one, give Bruno at LW a go:

Surely you got to target TAA? Rashford or Garnacho out left for me.

And if they win, they'll be only seven points behind with no cup distractions. Finishing behind Liverpool would be hugely disappointing from this position but it's absolutely not out of the question if we lose at Anfield.

Due time for a win there. I assume the last time we won is the Juanfield in 2015?

No, we won the very next league game there, in January 2016. 1-0 with... a Rooney goal I think?

Liverpool avoid a red in almost every game they play and Fabinho is usually given a couple of free hits without punishment. Not sure if this is still influenced by Klopps press conference tantrum the other year or more systemic agreement.

Surely they won’t get a red card for their antics any time soon?

If you count form we're favorites and should go there full of confidence. Most important thing is not to play for the draw or too conservative and knowing ETH's work and mindset it wont happen. We went toe to toe with every one of big 6 clubs this season except City away.
Saying all that it's still Anfield and it's still a very dangerous, good team with the players who can hurt us. But we have players who can hurt them as well.
