I agree. We were great for 10 mins then normal services resumed, he’ll soon learn Casemiro and Eriksen in a double pivot can never work in EPL.
I wonder what he is going to do to move from it.

A better player.Why?
My response came from facing 43 years of racist abuse only to have a post aimed at me as a racist comment. I'm absolutely fuming, do I need to send in my IDProbably but it doesn't make your response better in the sense that your post was questionable without having a clue about the specific reference that you had in mind. Which makes your attempt at calling others racist a little bit misplaced.
Your stream must be very delayedWhy is Antony Martial named on the bench?
Absolutely spot on. Perhaps Amorim is just testing who he can rely on but the answer is, probably no one except Onana from this showing. No one appears able to pass, control a ball and have no ability to run. We are going to get stuffed here.Amorim sure has his work cut out for himself with this squad. This looks almost exactly like the ETH days, no work rate and close to zero technical ability.
I don’t see him him being good enough in midfield to warrant any time there at all.You think he is defensively trustworthy enough? Can honestly really not see him do more than a make-do (classical?) wingback or box-to-box next to calm and composed CMs. It's not that he's not technical or anything, but just don's see him as reliable in a role where you can't be built around another more composed player. Kind of like how Fred did a job when the other midfielders were composed (so not often), but didn't do so when he was the DM or next to McT or something.
Why?
He’s been a shithouse orc who missed an open goal.We need to buy Liam Delap. He’s been fantastic and just the type of forward we need for this system.
It did, he was aiming for his sisterIt's a wonder the shot didn't sail wide.
Take Rashford off.Sub Garnacho off, bring on Hojlund as striker. Move Rashford to the left.
Sub Eriksen for Ugarte.
I'd swap Mazraoui to LWB and Dalot to RCB too. Both seem uncomfortable in their positions.
Exactly this and Amorim will soon find that out, if he already hasn't during training.Forget the formation, forget the coach. Some of these players are shit. Even the ones we look up to for results.
Hojlund? For who upfront? No options at all.
It's back now. Can't they do a retrospective review? If it was a United player, you know they would.Because there was no VAR at that point in the game.
As soon as we stopped getting the ball to Amad, we looked painfully average.
I'd get Malacia and Shaw on at LWB and LCB, respectively.
I'd get Mainoo and Mount on too.
Expected. But we are sitting back because we have five at the back. When we have the ball. The three CBs don't contribute to the attacking play so we are light going forward. The players look like their playing counter attacking football. Against bloody IpswichDisjointed which is to be expected, you can see some of his system he wants to play but in 6 days it looks what we thought it would be.
Ipswich looked more drilled, more intensity, fortunate with the goal.
Jesus wept.Why?
Gomes on a free would be a good startLiverpool spent about that on four new midfielders in one summer and completely fixed their midfield. It's time for the new Ineos team to show what they can do next summer I would say.
I believe Mount will add some energy as well. Bruno and Garna not really working atmI'd put Ugarte on sooner than later.
When? Hopefully but still waiting.A better player.

I’d put Ugarte and Mount in there, they have the legs to cover that area. It's so easy for them playing outside our penalty area cos no legs in the middle of the park.
And the amount of time Hutchinson has had to take touches around our box is alarming
Am sure the gaffer will sort it
that's even more of a disappointment than the performanceSome very dramatic people.
The big tasty is back at McDonald's, smile guys.
Own goal.Redknapo saying the Ipswich goal was a "lovely strike", totally ignoring the huge deflection that moved it from off target / easy save to top corner.
Anthony Taylor
