Crazy thing is if we win we are only 3 points behind spurs if they lose to pool today. If we somehow find our way out of this chaos and start winning to put a semblance of basic standards to end our season, we could be 5th given Spurs’ torrid fixtures. Or status quo performances continue we will be 8th.

Also we need to do better than Newcastle and Chelsea. Which we won't.

Spurs will most probably beat Burnley and Sheffield United so should finish on 66 points at least. Even if we win all the remaining games we'd finish behind them on GD.

On game: No Maguire, Jesus. Is it Casemiro-Kambwala pairing or?

As far as I know Kambwala is still injured, so it’ll probably be two midfielders at centre-back. This is absolutely ridiculous.

It really has been unlike any other season regarding injuries. Don’t think we’ll win another game now.

It's an irrelevant game anyway. Anyone with a knock should be just wrapped up til the cup final

What's with Martinez and Lindelof anyway? Got injured early April and it was said injury would keep them out for a month. Could they be back for Arsenal or at least Newcastle game...

It’s early May so they’re on schedule?

ETH announced Onana CB and Heston in net.

Is Evans fit? If not I imagine he’ll be Amrabat next to Casemiro…

How the heck are we keep getting injuries in training? It is not like the 'coaching' is helping? Just give them the days off between games, tell them to eat and drink healthily, have Zoom conferences for any tactics and they at least will have a better chance of being available for the games.

This will be a huge game after the weekends results. Lose, and we're at the back of the queue for Europe. Win, and we're sniffing at fifth.

This is ludicrous. It got ludicrous a good few injuries ago, but I've run out of synonyms for it.

No doubt the commentators will still keep talking about how "United are all over the place defensively" without any kind of reference to threadbare, makeshift, patched up, etc, as they would with any other team suffering such an horrific injury list.

God knows what the 'defence' is going to look like in the last few weeks of the season. I dread to think. Especially given the calibre of some of the attackers we're going to be up against.

Feck it id rather keep them for the FA cup final.
Tricky one. As you don't want to rush them back too early. On the other hand, it's good if they have a little bit of playing time ahead of the cup final so that they're not going into it lacking match fitness and sharpness.

Of course, the way this seasons gone, they'll probably end up getting injured again in training whether we give them any minutes or not. :(

Well we can't win without any CB's, so on a basic level the after game excuse will be a valid one.

I'm sure he's prepared his post match answers already.

Just fecking forfeit the remaining league games and send what players we do have away on some kind of training camp for the final.

That, or take them round the back of old Trafford and give them the Old Yeller treatment. I’m not fussed which.

I was worried we wouldn‘t be motivated for this game, but Chelsea gave West Ham a pasting. Hopefully that helps.

I am beginning think god doesn't like us. How bad must we have been to not be allowed to play with center backs.

The last time this many defenders went down this quickly they were called the Spartans and I'm not talking about the ones from Blyth.

Didn't Van Gaal have a issues with CB's at one point? when McNair and Blackett had to come in, so maybe it's a Dutch thing.

I vaguely remember Fergie having something similar in one of his latter seasons too, but it was totally out of the norm, this just seems to be what passes as normal nowadays.

Chelsea went into the Westham game today with 16 injured players and won 5:0 so I don’t accept the 37 excuses from Eric.

Yeah we played Fulham and Wolfsburg with Carrick & Fletcher as CBs and I think Park played RB as well in those games.

James, Chilwell, Fernández, Chukwuemeka, Ugochukwu, Sánchez, Lavia, Fofana. Who are the other eight?
