I’d agree but DeZerbi almost always seems to have ETH’s number.
I had a look at the table after the Brighton Bournemouth match and was surprised to see just how far lately Brighton have fallen, not sure Zebeddee’s cousin is the choice to rake over from Eric.

    3-1 Palace.

Of the 5 games left I see us losing 4 and drawing the other.

Never wanted a season to end so much in my life. Just pray ten Hag is not in the dug out next season.

Brighton have completely lost the plot, I think even we will be capable of beating them.

Backs to the wall stuff in this game.
Palace are much better than Burnley and they are at home but football is a funny old game.

    I've gone for 2-0 Palace.
I suspect we will surrender about 25+ shots to about 15. But that will be classed as entertaining and progress.
Only bonus is Rashford is still injured so we will at least start with 11 men.
4 games of ETH left, thank feck.

2-1 scrappy win. Looked nailed on for 6th despite our form, 2 more wins should get us that and at least avoid the Conference.

How do we look nailed on for sixth? We've got a tough run in, aren't winning any games, and will almost certainly be overtaken by Newcastle and / or Chelsea unless we do start winning them.

Including the cup final, I really can't see many wins for us from the remaining 5 matches.

As for this game, I think a Palace win or a draw are a lot more likely than a United victory. Would be lovely to sneak a win though, and make up for the dropped points v Burnley.

Draw after we give away an 88th minute penalty probably.
I think we'll probably lose - but, still, to a late pen most likely.

Going back to the Brighton game in May last year when we lost to a 99th minute penalty, I'd love to know if any other club has had so many late pens against them in that 12 month period?

Off the top of my head there's Brighton, Copenhagen, Chelsea, Liverpool, Coventry, Burnley...

Palace will be up for this, can’t see us getting anything here. There playing decent football.

Yeah, I read that they’ve scored 1 goal since February that wasn’t an OG.

We’ll somehow still make them look like 1970 Brazil, though. Probably a dead rubber at that point anyways.

Seems to be a lot of bad feeling around the club, and be very interesting to see how the players react to the announcement on their futures.

Palace to win 2-1. Think the only game we'll win to the end of the season now will be against Arsenal, handing City the title.

Very tough game at the minute, good vibes v bad vibes.

    We'll scrap out a 1-1.

Jarred Gillett the ref for this game. He was in charge of the recent Chelsea v Man United game and gave two very soft penalties to Chelsea.

Let's not forget that he's a Liverpool fan.

Michael Oliver has said that he wouldn't be allowed anywhere near a Sunderland game because he supports Newcastle, yet having Leeds (Atkinson) and Liverpool fans ref United games is absolutely fine, of course.

Onana to drop, but a climate activist to save us last minute by sitting chained near the post

    0-0

Nice that we get a bank holiday game. Gonna sit back, get stoned and watch this one without any negativity. Just gonna enjoy every game as a game of football solely until the final. Had enough of stressing over games this season.

Probably going to be a slog so grab some snacks.

If Palace have Olise and Eze fit they're doing the double over us. Decent chance even if they don't.

I'm going with 2-0 to Palace here, with us barely laying a glove on them.

Please do not start Martinez until he’s fully fit. Maybe bring him in as a sub but let’s get him above anyone for the final. He’s so important for us.

We going to get outplayd again aren't we considering how good Palace have looked of late under new manager

Palace have been looking good recently and won 3 of their last 4 ( inc. beating Liverpool at Anfield).
In those 4 games they’ve scored 9 and conceded 3.
They made a good go of it in their previous 4-2 loss at home, to City, just before that.

On our current performances, with the available squad, it’s hard to see us getting a win at Selhurst Park this time out.

    .

I expect an easy 5-0 win. Hat-trick from Rashford, plenty of energy from him
We'll be in complete control, quiet day for Onana. Wan Bissaka with some driving runs forward.

I'm convinced Amad will start over Antony. I think many of our injuries will come back unscathed. Should be a great one.

ETH will talk about “trusting the process” in his post-match conference after we get shrugged aside by a better Crystal Palace team. Can’t wait for the impending player clear out next season.
