Is it possible that we're throwing these last few matches to ensure that we're not going to qualify for the Conference League?
I don’t think so. The prize money if nothing else would help ffp.
Always confused when people say this as it quite evident there is a style of play and patterns that are repeated. It’s just most of our players aren’t up to task and make stupid errors.
Shouldn’t Ten Hag be playing a style that suits the players at his disposal then? Something about the definition of insanity…

Awful performance tonight and I’m not really surprised, this game has about 4-0 Palace written all over it. Defensively it’s a shambles, and we look hopeless going forwards. My only thought would be whether we could stop Wan Bissaka pushing forwards and took him and Dalot inside a little and allow Casemiro to step into midfield when we have the ball.

What a horror show. We're a complete disorganised mess defensively, which is worsened by constant ball losses resulting in turnovers. Because we're all the time playing low-percentage passes at a speed we don't master. Slow down, for crying out loud.

My expectations were low, but I can't believe how we can't even do the basics now.

Seconds left and they don't even bother to get a cross in knowing it would be the last action of the half.

Think I've figured out our style of play.

Pass the ball to team mates in a way that because increasingly difficult to control until we eventually lose the ball, and then defend like 80 year olds.

I'm not entirely sure why we have chosen that style but there you go.

As useless as the manager is, the players he’s bought are just as bad. Hojlund is fecking garbage - if he was playing for Palace tonight we’d be laughing at them for paying anything about £5 for him. Ditto Antony….ditto Erickson…ditto Mount.

Why even bother coming out in second half when you don’t get a chance. Instead of 1-1 you get 2-0. No statements from club. Says a lot when clubs like Nottingham care more about their club.

We’ve been poor but conceded two very poor goals due to Casemiro mainly and Onana.

Casemiro is playing as if he didn’t get the memo that he’s a CB today. He’s chasing the ball into no man’s land leaving Evans as the lone CB. And Onana is just hopeless, they weren’t clear errors but both should’ve been saved.

Hopefully we'll be putting out a slightly stronger side for the Arsenal, but feck me, tonight's team looks ripe for a hammering

Might as well go all out Erik, put players back where they're best, Case in DM, Dalot RB and shoehorn the rest in stead of shoehorning everyone. Bring on another attacker and let's at least try and save some dignity.

That is what I'm asking. Is it not at least curious how so many of our regular starters are being dropped due to mystery injuries? Just asking...maybe our entire starting XI save a few are out with injuries picked up in training.

ETH is useless in everything, his training is probably causing all these injuries.

1 win in 7 isn't bad - have to remember it was against a good Sheffield United side.

Olise and Eze showboating before 30 mins played because they already knew the three points was secured even then

Is it ok to say I hope we get absolutely thrashed now?

Or does that make me less of a fan? In that case feck it, I'm less of a fan then.

It's mad to me that everyone is so cool with having a keeper that makes every shot seem unsaveable. One of his trademark, failing to get down for a low shot then another of his failing to cover his near post.

In before 'you would say that Dave lol!'. I dont think more DDG was the answer but I know for a fact this liability definitely is not.

Absolutely fuming at that disallowed goal. Even in the world of over-protected keepers that is not a foul in a million years. How is VAR not overturning that?

Both Palace goals have come from Casemiro being in no man’s land in midfield. How can you be so experienced yet so brain dead?

We have no athleticism. Another thing the club has been behind on.
Been saying it for months…and a little earlier in this thread.

Not only does this squad need quality. It’s desperate for a strong physical upgrade. We need some quick, strong, ideally both. We get murdered every game

For the first time this season I'm seriously considering to not watch Man United in action this Sunday against Arsenal, why bother at this stage?

Forget the low quality. We’re just so physically weak. Either slow of literally physically weaker in comparison to every one we play.

    Eriksen. Slow and weak
    Casemiro. Slow
    Evans. Slow.

    it’s not sustainable

    Even those missing…

    Maguire. Slow
    Rashford. Weak
    Bruno. Neither quick or strong
Not to throw the lad under the bus but you can added Kobbie to that list too. He's a very talented player but I don't think he will work effectively in a midfield without a physical presence. Ideally he needs to be in there with Casemiro and at worst, McT. I think for England, with players like Rice and Bellingham it's no longer a problem.

Anyone saying we should keep Evans need to have their head checked

Are we practising for the Arsenal match in which we're planning to drop points?

Is it ok to say I hope we get absolutely thrashed now?

Or does that make me less of a fan? In that case feck it, I'm less of a fan then.
Surely your first option would be us to win, just a thought?

There some shit out there but the way we are set up is fecking shocking.....

Is it ok to say I hope we get absolutely thrashed now?

Or does that make me less of a fan? In that case feck it, I'm less of a fan then.

Nah - I think that is justified. Anything that gets ETH out of here

You made an objectively false statement, and have doubled down on it, and thrown in "fanboys" too, ticking all of the teenage boxes there.

As opposed to a child who refuses to accept that these are the players he bought. It is objectively the truth that these are his players, the ones ETH bought in the team himself and that won't change just cause you are in denial. Keep deluding yourself if you want, but his players are playing just as shit as the ones he 'inherited'.

Absolutely horrendous first half, we cant tackle, cant pass, cant shoot, Hojlund has been terrible again, Antony none existant, and have conceeded 2 goals die to the defenders being to week and not doing their jobs.

this is like the end of the 2021/22 season, you're just counting down the games
The only thing is this season has the "excitement" of the FA Cup final
