I find it interesting that even though we try very hard to press, we never seem to get the ball, always a step too slow, whereas the opponent can just break up our attack easily and the transition looks so seamless.

We were going to Palace expecting to get cuffed and that is exactly what is happening. That is the level we are at. It should be unreal but it isn't. Can see the same again in the second half with 4 or 5 not being over pessimistic. To Palace. This is where we are.

Gary Neville pretty much asked this and he pretty much said it’s not in his nature to play defensive football. He was tasked with bringing progressive football to United and that is what he plans to do.

Think everyone knows with the current crop of players the best option would probably be to sit back and try to break on teams. Ole ball basically, We don’t have the players to be able to play progressive football.

The midfield set up is asinine, we say this every game and the Ten Hag defenders never seem to be able give a defense of the tactics.

Imagine making one of the most decorated players in the modern era your captain for the night, asking him to fill in at CB as your squad is absolutely destroyed and then he goes and twice gets done one in and the other practically in the opposition half.

ETH should have hauled him off to make a point, even if he has no one else to put on.

Also having seen the two replays, why are people blaming Onana? I'm annoyed his passing his been poor, but those two goals are hardly his fault. People seeing what they want here.

Disappointed by Mount, no idea where he's playing or what he's supposed to be doing but not being involved at all is not a good look.

Not entirely although there will be a few departures. I do think we have a few decent players who are being made to look bad by the ridiculous tactics such as the constantly mentioned insane amount of space we allow teams in midfield. I think the younger players especially are being set up to fail and could change a few opinions in a better coached team.

So deflating. This is a clear game where injuries are fecking us. Just a huge gap for their first goal which you would hope wouldn't happen if we had a proper defense.

Then the second, Evans getting absolutely skinned. I can't blame him too much, he's probably not properly fit. Hasn't played for a while. It's just insane we're at this point.
