No change then.. fair enough but it's a much tougher game and IMO we needed garnacho and Zirkzee in today. Hope we can manage.

We should ban the twitter handle Simply Utd. There is no Zirkzee or Garnacho and they just make up stuff

We have the same team as last week, Mctominay on the bench
Agreed. Second week on the trot that I had a team with 11/11 (or 10/11 last week) then changed it last minute

Think generally our best players should be playing, therefore De Ligt over Maguire.

Otherwise, I think that press heavy lineup with Mount makes most sense.

I much prefer this, where form seems to matter more. If you play well, you play next week. Must be so much better for the squad long term to have actual competition for places.

I agree but most on here were saying Maguire was so good last game it would send the wrong message if he was dropped for De Ligt

Don’t see us scoring until the subs come on similar to last match. Unless we can start being ruthless in front of goal!

Antony taking up a spot on the bench is criminal, as an attacker he makes zero impact off the bench. Surely when we have a fully fit squad this guy won't be making the bench.
Yeah we really needed to try and sell him but I guess the potential loss we would need to take would just be too huge right now. I rate with Shaw, Yoro & Hojlund all fit, plus possibly Ugarte joining he’s struggling to make the squad.

On a very random note, what’s happening with Lindelof? Surely he needs moving on but I’ve barely read anything along those lines.

Unchanged team. Wont complain too much.

Would have liked Rashford out for Garnacho and Zirkzee in for Mount.

    Hate playing with no striker

    SanchGO

Must be off. Hopefully we get a fee and can reinvest it into another signing before the deadline

Huge ear infection for Sancho it seems. Hope he one day recovers!

Happy with that, a good performance last game with that XI, just lacking finishing, hopefully we don't squander those types of chances today.

Today I would have given Wheatley his spot on the bench, when we have a fully fit squad he should be nowhere near the match squad. I do wonder how we're going to keep everyone happy though.
Let's be honest, you're never giving Wheatley Antony's spot on the bench.

I like that he's giving Mount and Amad another 60 minutes or so. Garnacho is one hell of an impact sub vs tired legs. Surely he starts vs Liverpool's high line next week.

The options aren’t great . It’s Antony or Sancho . We have no other wingers

Agreed. Maguire has earned his place in the starting XI.

Yeah I get that but also think playing well should really be the floor. We all know Maguire’s weaknesses and limitations, presumably De Ligt offers more to the team’s level, playing style etc.

Don’t even know if that makes sense, got Covid and words are hard.
