F1 2021 Season

Lewis went out on cold tires while max had his up to temp, Max could have waited, and Lewis could have given more room. Lewis had to knew he was a sitting duck with cold tires, but he got desperate and shut the door completely. Race incident anyways, move on.
 
Brilliant for McLaren! Really hope Ric can push on from this. Makes McLaren much stronger.
 
Lets go you previously silver colored team I couldn't stand in my youth!
 
What a drive from both of them, they deserve that. Lando’s win will come too.

McLaren love this track. Last year Sainz was on course for win also.
Now, Ricciardo can get to drive that Dale Earnhardt car. Win both his bet with Cyril and Zak. :lol:

I do think Max had a right to go down the outside, but Lewis left him room and also left him room on the next corner too - he didn’t go right to the apex. Max was never in front and he knew that putting the car there he would crash. To me this has to be a penalty, if you give Lewis a penalty in Silverstone you have to give Max a penalty here.

If they hadn’t given a penalty to Lewis in that race, I’d say this shouldn’t be a penalty either. For me both are racing. But Silverstone was slightly more Lewis’ fault then Hamilton, and this is slightly more Max’s fault than Lewis. So, you have to penalise both if you want to be fair and set that precedent.

This is basically it for me. The handling of the Silverstone incident for me should directly influence how they handle this one for the sake of coherence.

If you had watched the race you would have seen that the race line was to hug the right curb into the corner and hug the left curb out of the corner. To leave a cars width would have meant there was no way of making the corner at the speed they were carrying.
 
Great win for Mclaren, would have preferred Norris, but still great to see a different car winning through their own speed rather than Merc/RB not finishing (even though they didn't finish haha).
 
Due to a safety feature that was met with significant backlash when introduced , this race will be remembered as one of the most entertaining, and not as another tragedy.

You don’t need to have watched this race to know the racing line. I’ve been there, I’ve literally walked around that corner, I know the racing line.
 
Verstappen with a bit more patience might have overtaken Hamilton by the next chicane.

I make no secret I am a massive Lewis fan, I dont dislike Max, he is a future WC.
Both drivers can be idiots ar times, both say and do thing that maybe they should not.
Silverstone was 60-40 Lewis, today I am saying racing incident, both gave nothing and resulted in the crash, maybe Lewis should have backed out and took Max later in the race.

Then how can you say that he could have gave him more room and still made the corner it makes no sense.
 
Happy for Riccardo but he's still such a melt. I know a lad who could be his brother in terms of looks and personality. Type of lad if he was made of chocolate, he'd eat himself.
 
Norris is a good boy putting on that brave face! He'll do some winning when he becomes a little more cnuty for sure.
 
So Max seems to think it's ok to squeeze drivers off track, but when another driver does it to him he doesn't ever attempt to back out like Hamilton has done many times this season.

At Silverstone Hamilton was a fool for attempting that move apparently, and Max wasn't at fault, now it's the opposite and Hamilton has to leave the space.

Max and Horner said Hamilton was disrespectful after that race for celebrating, meanwhile Max has landed on top of Hamilton's car, and before he even knows if he is ok, he makes a stupid radio message to his team.

If Hamilton did that there would be chaos, but super Max can do whatever he likes without any backlash.

I can't wait to see what Horner will moan bout now.
