Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Have to admire their optimism. He is not even close to being worth that much.

We don't want to sell Ibrahimovic for a ridiculous fee, if any teams want to sign him they have to splash some good cash otherwise we'll be happy to keep the player at Inter. He has been consistently better than Kakà over the past two season so he's worth at least the same price.

He's over-rated and he's unloyal cnut. What did he show against us in Champions League?

Some people thought Ronaldo doesn't love United. Ibrahimovic is no better and he doesn't know anything about loyalty.

Spanish Defensa Central wrote that Inter want Robben + Sneijder + €20m for Ibrahimovic.

If thats true i'd go for it. Cuts the wage bill, gets rid of two fringe players and adds another Galactico to the team. Add Villa to that and they've got 4 world class players in 1 summer.

And Ibrahimovic probably agrees to earn less money per week than in Inter.

If Madrid bid more than £80m for Ibrahimovic we should cancel the Ronaldo deal and demand at least £110m.

Sir Alex Ferguson is weighing up a move for Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Manchester United boss Fergie, who yesterday completed the £3.5million signing of Bordeaux winger Gabriel Obertan, has missed out on several of his top targets to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. Lyon striker Karim Benzema opted to join Real Madrid, while Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery revealed his desire to play in La Liga.

That has left Fergie (above) with limited options in terms of finding a forward to supply the goals without Ronaldo - despite the free signing of former England striker Michael Owen.

Now Inter striker Ibrahimovic, 27, has emerged as a target, with Fergie having had the Sweden international watched on several occasions last season by his European scouts. Inter would be reluctant to sell £ 30mrated Ibrahimovic, twice voted Serie A Player of the Year, but sources in Italy suggest they may be persuaded by a sizeable fee.

France Under-21 star Obertan signed a four-year deal as Fergie said: "Gabriel is a player we've tracked for a few years now. We're delighted to get him now as he's an exciting new prospect."

Obertan said: "I'm very happy to join United. This is a big opportunity for me to play at such a great club. I'm very excited to be here."

No substance to the article at all - nothing really there to suggest that we actually are after him. Also, the 30million fee seems to low, considering the fees being thrown around for him earlier in the summer, 70million being talked about at one point. On top of all that, I just don't see Ferguson signing another big name forward, following the signing of Owen, I just don't think there is the squad place for it.

Again, midfield should be the priority imo, really hoping that it will not be ignored.

Thats one of the worst rumours around really. Just some random bloke who feels Fergie might want to sign Ibra.

We do need a big name striker. Owen may or may not fulfill our needs due to his injury prone nature. We need another experienced striker besides Rooney and Berba. Three active experienced strikers are a must this season, because other clubs have beefed up their arsenals. And the CL is a priority now after having lost out in the last final. Macheda and Welbeck are still too young to take over if any of the present strikers suffer an injury.

Yes. We need a solid midfielder. Hargo may not take the field until January. We have the cash. I am sure Fergie knows better than all of us what our priorities are.

We're being linked with a different striker everyday now. It's getting quite amusing.

When will the tabloids learn that we'll never believe them.

If you want a "big name striker", Ibrahimovic is your man.

Hes worth at least 23 points in scrabble!!!

Ibrahimovic signing???? well i know most will compare him to berba but i think they are different players and as such both bring different things to the team. One thing that can't be argued is that the lad is world class, and i am not sure what team would relish playing against below. Only barca come to mind when i think of a team that matches up to below, and i believe both anderson and valencia will make their inclusion in below look common sense by mid season.

Ibrahimovic--Rooney
--------Berba
Anderson-Harg--Valencia

Evra---Vidic--Rio--Raf
--------Foster

I can't see Carrick in there.

Carrick's our best midfielder, can't believe you'd want to drop him.

Chelsea's back-ups - Anelka and Di Santo, and that's if they only go with one up top.

Liverpool's back-ups - Ngog and Babel.

I'd say we really don't need to buy anyone else and that Owen, Macheda and Welbeck aren't worse than either.

Well all sense goes out of the window when we're linked with a big name Brwned. I don't want that big headed (albeit talented) cock anywhere near united. Only player in the world who can disappear with 50,000+ people watching you (and millions more on TV) in the champions league.

This ones going no-where, just a transfer muppet on the official website.

Ibra will not be sold unless someone offers ridiculous sums of money (around Kaka's fee). We wont sign him up.
