Why the feck did you buy it then?

To wipe your arse with?

60% discount. Plus I like the white Inter shirt, and it included the printed name of a player I like and respect. Nothing wrong with it. If I were a fanboy I would have like 200 posts in this thread and in the transfer forum thread.

Nothing wrong having shirts from other clubs and/or players you like.

feck are you guys in your period or what?

I love how upset some english people gets whenever Zlatan is mentioned somewhere.

Yeah, english fans tend to favour sturdy players who run around a lot. Technical skill is somewhat secondary. (OK I know I'm generalising). You can build a strong team with maybe seven-eight decent players who are hard workers, but you need a couple of players with that superb technical skill in order to score against the best defences.

Nice generalisation in the past two posts. I rate Ibrahimovic highly although a lot of it is down to what I've heard mainly because he never seems to shine through whenever I watch him play.

This is the case for me too, when I see him he's OK, otherwise he's ace.

Except for that backheel against Italy.

Pfft, who needs Ibrahimovic when you've got a younger version of him in Toivonen.

I don't get upset about him - he's jolly good

English fans don't tend to prefer players who run around a lot to more technically gifted players. You are totally wrong and ignorant.

I'd agree that England managers do though, whether they're English or not.

Toivonen is a good player with pretty impressive technique but nowhere near as talented as Zlatan.

Nice hair though.

Well obviously he's not as talented as Zlatan, he's one the most talented players of the 00's.

It was just a joke, but Toivonen does look talented.

I see hehe. Thought you were being serious there.

That's because he's got nobody who can play football beside him. He's head and sholders above the second best in the Swedish national team.

Signing Ibra would make no sense at all though :(

Zlatan + Berbatov. That cant work, can it?

They would probably be too similar as their both lazy long haired Eastern Europeans with ridiculous technique.

Don't want him at United, we don't need him we already have Berba. Also although I could watch his youtube compilations all day, as his technical skill is great, he is still one of the most over hyped players in the world. Ok he is great in Italy, but the game is slower there than the PL where he wouldn't have the same time on the ball to pull of the fancy tricks. Also great players have the ability to carry a whole countries expectations on their shoulders, has he done this for Sweden?

Ibrahimovic is the best player in the World against Palermo.

No thanks.

what great player has ever done that ole? it's a bullshit comment because the actual reality of football is that it is very much a team game....

Ibra would own the Premiership, he is powerful and would get away with using his strengh more in the prem than he does in Italy.

Im not saying that he should be carrying his team to World cup glory or anything, Im just saying that he does not care to recognise that he is Swedens best player and the country expects him to perform every time he puts on the shirt. Its a trend that is shown in the lesser nations, take Keane with Ireland, Giggs with Wales, or more notable Hakan Şükür with Turkey

Ireland have had other good players, Turkey too.

I agree that he should do more but as the only striker worth anything it is difficult, he cant command the game like Keane, or get the ball wide like giggs and run at full backs.

Also have you ever seen sweden play? i'd honestly put Lagerback or whatever his name is in the dustbin, he has to be one of the worst coaches around.

for a long time Giggs played centrally for Wales, especially when he was captain. Sweden have had some decent players too, look at Melberg and Larsson. Infact every time I see Sweden Larsson still manages to outshine Ibra

Giggs played through the middle for Wales in his later years...

Larsson? Henrick?

cracking player, past it now though.

Unless you mean Sebastian? Average player, a grafter. Perfect for Lagerbacks sweden, grafters will look great. Flair players obsolete.

I heard he doesn't give much of a shit playing for Sweden because he is Bosnian/Croatian.

I can see why he's one of your favourite players.

Such commitment to the game should be admired.

Complete bollocks. He did consider playing for Bosnia when he was younger but decided to play for Sweden instead.

Sebastian is often the best player on the pitch whenever he gets the chance to play. He's very cocky, which I don't think Lagerbäck likes.

Yeah, Henrik is past it but still better than the dross we have on the bench ( Elmander & Rosenberg)

Out of 10 where does Ibrahimovic come?

I've never seen that much of him aside from the occasional Inter / United game.

I don't go out of my way to watch Sweden for him or anything. But I believe he is technically brilliant.

Whenever i watched Birmingham in the championship he was decent, not really a standout. He could be one of those players who seem to up it for Internationals...

I'm only going on what i've seen on Sweden in major championships not so much qualification.
